well this card is amazing, one of the best gpu out of the market right now.upgraded from a evga GTX260 oc 216 cores incredible the gtx560 ti twin frozr II almost double the performance without even been superoverclocked to 1000mhz on the cpu frecuency.!-This card is a monster for its power but not for it size just 9.5 inches tiny small.2-amazing OCing capabilities (reach 950mhz stable) even 1ghz but i dont recommend you need very good coolin to move a lot air in your case.3-temps are great <runs 20D celcius cooler than the reference> because of those massive heat pipes that takes out the heat from the gpu.4-power consumption, so much less than the previews generation.(I mean 400 and 200 series).5-good quality ,wiht style, looks so great in my case.6-noise level very good at 40 % reasonable at 70-75%, it just get a just little loud at 80% and up.even though is great.very good product, very good value, very good features.very good price for what you get.I can pretty maxout every game so far at 1920x1080p on dx!! even with phyx*My RIG thermaltake V5 black Gaming case*AMD phenomII x6 1090t with cooler master V8 on top*asus m5a97evo Mobo*MSI gtx 560 ti twin frozrII oc*G skill 4gb ddr3 1600 mhz*corsair tx650 v2*1tb wd caviar black sataIII,160gb wd black sataII

The card was delivered very promptly. It's a very nice card for the money. The drivers on the included disc did not run on my Windows Pro 7 64bit machine. That was a bit anoying, but the drivers from the MSI website worked fine and were no doubt more up to date. The live Update 5 utility from MSI does not play well with others - so I uninstalled it after running it since it would cause me to have to click another box at every boot.

The graphics are great and it should last a while. The card is very quiet. I had to move my hard drive because the card is very long - really tight fit. I have a mid tower. Just bad luck that the drive was in line with the PCIE slot, but not hard to fix. Could be a problem if you have a lot of components in your smallish case.

This may sound like a lot of trouble, but after the hell I went through with my last graphics card installation (ATI) this was nothing to complain about.

This card is heavy,, but doesn't sag at all. Very solidly built. I expect it to hold up well. And it is very fast. My machine seems about 4 times faster at some tasks now. I do a lot of demanding 3D CAD work and this made a big difference in the CAD performance. Renders are much faster. Impressive performance for the price range. Windows Experience now shows my hard drive as the slowest component. It had been the onboard graphics before. The graphics are now rated at 7.3 I believe. The overall is 7.8 on an AMD Phenom quad core with 8 gigs of RAM.

Update - 081611 - The card has been running great. Have learned that the MSI drivers are usually what you want. The standard Nvidia drivers do not always work well with this card. I recently updated the Nvidia driver to the latest one for the chip and had to go back to the MSI site and download their latest driver which is not as new, but much more stable! This is a very high quality card and they have specifically designed it for overclocking, so I'm guessing they have some proprietary circuitry. Windows will want to upgrade the Nvidia drivers, though, so you have to watch out for that and NOT do it. IT may just be a problem with the new Nvidia driver, but the difference was pretty serious. My CAD program, which is clearly not the best, would not function properly with the newest Nvidia drivers, but the MSI ones work perfectly and are stable, as far as I can tell. Don't let this put you off of this card, though. It's really a great card and runs fast and very cool. Very well built, too.

Update July 2013 - Still going strong. I had my motherboard die on me - NOT the fault of the graphics card! - CPU was toast, but this card survived and is still running great. I had to take my toasted machine to a shop to get it fixed and the guys at the computer shop were pretty blown away with the card and the AMD Phenom chip. They said it was a smoking fast machine considering what it was. Computer techs do not usually say these things about mid level cards... They were quite impressed. I will keep buying MSI, but my advice about running the MSI drivers still holds - get the drivers from the MSI site not the Microsoft update. It takes MSI a little while to update their drivers, but they are rock solid so far.

One year almost to the day, and this graphics card has expired. Like the Monty Python skit about the dead bird, this card has simply expired and has gone to meet its maker. Very disappointed and customer service is meh at best. I am still waiting to hear how they will honor the "3 year warranty" that is clearly on the box, and I understood to be one of the best in the business. Perhaps, they feel that if they take a few months, I will simply just go away. When the card worked....it worked reasonably well. It was/isn't as fast as my 580, but was a step up from a SLI configuration with dual 8800GTX's. A step up, not a jump up. My fps during most games was about a 4% increase across the board. I don't change or modify cards, so perhaps the numbers I see on most sites are due to over accelerating or tweaks. Out of the box with latest drivers is how I compare cards, and this one was a nice step up especially when the price is factored in. I would NOT rebuy the item, and that is why the 2 stars. I would suggest another card mfg. or the newer 580 series.

First, my 3D needs are very undemanding, but I had a chance to get a card in the $220-250 price range, and decided to go for it. I first tried a Sapphire HD 6870 because they get such good reviews and AMD are supposed to be more 'bang for the buck' these days. And it may be a great card, but I had three issues that sent me back to nVidia and this card:

1) I have an older case and can't cool is as well as I'd like. It's a Dell XPS 720 and while they have very powerful fans their software (which one can't change) opts to runs them quietly and accepts higher temps, which I don't like.

2) The Sapphire had one fan and it ran too hot. Even when doing nothing it was showing temps in at least the mid 50's, even though other components weren't all that hot and I put an exhaust fan in the back of the case right next to it.

3) Oddly, while the card worked fine for my 3D stuff, it didn't work well with some video stuff. I'm sure I could have tweaked things, but I didn't want to bother.

I decided to go with a GeForce GTS 560 Ti because I like nVidia, have always had nVidia, even though I thought the card might measure less well. I considered several different dual-fan cards, and went with the MSI after reading all of the reviews. (I got to the point where I really couldn't see a clear winner. I knew that I wanted a brand name card, even if some of the lesser brands seem to offer more for the money.)

I've had the card for a few days and I'm delighted with it. The 3D stuff I throw at it usually taxes is (per their Afterburner software) about 25%, but I'm sure that was the case with the AMD card too. But this thing stays amazingly cool and does it with no discernable fan noise. And I have none of the problems with video that I had with the AMD.

I should not that as expected it ranks slightly below the AMD in benchmarks. For instance, the WEI gave the AMD a 7.8 rating and this a 7.7. But for me it's great. HOWEVER, while this card is overclocked, and is reported to have a lot of headroom, I have set the software not to let it ramp itself up. Were I to let it rip, I'm sure the numbers would be higher.

One caution: One of the appealing things about it is that it oozes quality and expensive materials, but the downside to that is that it's heavy: the heat sink is very heavy and the "cover" (in quotes as it leaves the card pretty unconvered) is apparently aluminum, and while it exudes quality, it weighs a heck of a lot more than the plastic-shrouded cards out there.

For me, this seems to be a great choice.
