~~Soap scum inside the unit
Inside there is mesh made out of stainless which is what foams up the soap when the solution passed through it. Over time, the extra soap solution dries up and turns into soap scum which eventually clogs up the mesh and dumbs down foam production by a lot. After a year it was not foaming at all. My solution to this is to always run clean water through it after you are done and also throw it in a acid bath once a month. I mix white vinegar with a few drops of Dawn and let it soak in it for about 15 mins then rinse it thoroughly. The brass may turn pink, it is not harmful just a surface reaction with the acid but the inside of the unit is now clean and the mesh can produce more foam.
~~Rusty and awkwardly sized quick connector
The steel quick connect would not work with my Generac power washer but it did with my SunJoe washer. I noticed the end of it is a little longer than, well any other quick connector making it hard to connect to the wand. Also, after two years of use the inside and end of the quick connect had rusted very very badly. I took it out and replaced it with a normal sized, better coated quick connector. Make sure you get it deadly tight with two wrenches. Other than the quick connect and allen screw on-top, there is nothing else that can rust in or out of the unit. The innards seem to be made of stainless. Pictured is the old quick connector compared to the new one installed.
~~Cross threading bottle
I think this is a problem with a lot of these bottles but you have to be very careful with how you thread in the bottle. Putting this soft plastic on hard brass is not the best of ideas so it is super easy to cross thread the bottle.
Do keep in mind that my unit is three years old, there may have been changes to the units sold today.
Other than these things, I do like the unit. I do think it is kind of overpriced, especially seeing that mine did not come with a pickup tube. When you use it, use less soap than you think and make sure you get rid of the soap scum inside of it once a month or so. Also make sure you are using a power washer with at least 2300PSI and 2.3GPM. With those things it should serve you for a long time.
PLEASE READ if you have a GreenWorks Electric Pressure Washer. MTM includes a 1/4" quick release fitting that probably will not fit your wand. If this happens, the Forney 75134 Quick Coupler Plug is the one you probably need. I have the GreenWorks GPW2001 and this plug works perfectly.

Came with a dent near top of bottleneck that I just cant get to w fingers- so I'll live w it. Dont know why either since it comes inside a very sturdy box with a few other pieces- including a bigger orfice to change out if needed . Instructions route you to view YouTube instead and if you're not familiar w using different fittings, you best read up on how to connect it to whatever source you intend to use! Wish it came w more fittings to connect to smaller Gun or Cannon.
Produced very good foam for sure! Hope it lasts as long as they say because it sure costs more than others!
Build quality is good. I've used this about 10 times now and it's holding up well. I'm careful with how tight I put the bottle on based on other reviews and so far it's been problem free.
