I ordered about 8 different pairs by a variety of manufacturers (Zoot, SLS3, Synergy, and several others). Some were too short, too large, too tight, not enough support, or the seat padding was too thick and would be uncomfortable for swimming. I first bought these in size XL per their size chart because my waist is 36" (I'm 5' 8" & 160 pounds), but they were too loose on my thighs. When I put my iPhone 11 in the side pocket it was not held snuggly in place. Size L is just right as it gives good support on my thighs. I tried them on a 20 mile bike ride and the padding is thin but more than adequate. I tried them in the pool and I did not notice the padding while swimming; I did a few weight machines after swimming and the pad dried out quicker than I thought The light blue design looks good. I thought the side pockets on the thigh (vs. others that have pockets on the hip) would not be comfortable when holding a phone, but it was fine. I did not try them while running, but they felt comfortable around the house, walking and driving.

Great tri short for a great price. The fit is good, snug without being restrictive. There is a wide drawstring that isn't too stretchy so you can get it snugged down just right. The side pockets are great and they are huge! Large enough to carry my phone while running with no worries about it falling out. The padding is just right, enough for the bike without feeling like a diaper on the run. I originally was sent the wrong size but sent them back and got the correct size in quick fashion. Definitely would recommend.

Our son joined a junior triathlon club. We did not want to invest a ton of money in shorts/suits etc... until we knew he was going to stick with it. These shorts were our short term solution but they are nice enough that he will keep wearing them for a while. After his first race he did not have any chaffing issues and he said they were comfortable. For the price we paid we are happy.

I am currently training for my first Ironman triathlon and I bought these tri shorts about two months ago and I love them. I have used them several times for swimming, biking and running and i like the feel. I have cycling shorts that I use for my cycling events and i fee like I’m wearing a diaper because of the padding, however, these ones have just enough padding to feel good on all three events and not feel uncomfortable. They were a great value. I highly recommend them. A couple of my brothers who are doing the triathlon with me are also purchasing them.

Bought these to compete in a sprint triathlon. I wore them while training in the swimming pool and in open water. The fabric is of excellent quality and didn't get damaged by the chlorine. I did my triathlon last month but I am still using these for regular training. Very comfortable.
I am 5'11" and 150 lbs. I usually wear jeans size W33. I bought the size LARGE and it first me perfectly.
