The New Movies They're Making These Days Are Mostly Trash That Don't Reflect My Values. Another Thing: Production Values, The Way Lighting Is Used, Microphone Placement...Sound Staging, All Seem To Be Lost Arts. I Notice The Newer Movies Seem To Rely Upon Darkened Backgrounds To Mask Poor Site Preparation, And The Dialogue Is Hard To Hear; It's As If Modern Producers Have Done Away With Sound Engineers, That Formerly Assured That Onscreen Dialogue Was Clearly Heard. I'm Not Talking About Sound Volume; This Problem Cannot Be Solved By Turning Up The Volume; It's More A Matter Of An Understanding Of Microphone Placement...Old Fashioned Production Values.

It's a good movie and I enjoy watching it and others when there's nothing on broadcast tv or on a sleepless night.

I do not know a lot of MacArthur but found this movie very interesting. Enough so that I will be reading more on his life. I cannot say one way or the other on the films accuracy but it seemed overall along historical lines.

This is the worst bluray i have ever seen looks like a old vhs tape and there are no extras at all not even a trailer universal SUCKS

At long last to finally to buy it on blu ray its been a long wait but worth it so now its time for a movie like macarthur to "Return"
