This new ProFX10 v3 series does it SO well. The channels are dead silent for perfect quiet passages like acoustic guitar and vocals. The 3-Band eq is very nice sounding and the compressor is a nice touch to have added. I can really hear the difference in the new GIGFX effects, plus there are more of them! The Onyx mic pre's with 60db of gain let you record with almost anything you plug in. I recorded a few vocal tracks with my old SM58 for testing and it sounded amazing.
For me the main reason I switched to this new v3 model is the monitoring ability while tracking. They built in a "blend" circuit and knob to allow you to record a new track while a previously recorded track is playing back, just like in a "real" studio. The blend knob lets you hear exactly how much of your live recording you want in your headset and how much of the recorded track playback you want. There's also a separate "control room" volume knob for studio speaker monitoring.
Finally, on this model (as well as the ProFX6) they have gone with level knobs instead of sliding faders. I personally never liked sliding faders on small boards, they are hard to fine tune while sitting at a desk. Plus they collect dirt much easier. This also makes this 10 channel mixer very compact on the desk! (I'm looking forward to taking this out to mix a live show too)
Highly recommended!
#1. Compressor is useless. The compressor did nothing to enhance the audio or sound from any output. I couldn't tell a different at all when turned all the way up or all the way down. My my behringer boards the compressor makes a big difference.
#2. channel 9/10 stereo inputs ALSO get mixed with the USB blend nob. I plugged in stereo inputs into channel 9/10 thinking I could use this channel to mix one of my UBS sound cards on. But for some reason I could hear the audio on that channel even with the fader all the way down. Turns out the USB 1-2 Blend nob just takes anything you plug into channel 9/10, effectively making this a 2 stereo channel board, forcing you to use the 2 USB return channels. For some reason channel 11/12 have their own controls on the channel.
There's NO reason a physical input should be sending sound to the USB Blend nob! This is unacceptable.
I was already concerned with the lack of stereo channels on this board. 3 channels with 1 USB dedicated channel would have been cutting it really close for my setup. But losing another stereo inputs controls and overtaking the USB 1-2 nob with a physical input on channel 9/10 was too much for me.
LET ALONE the Compressor doing nothing! Maybe I got a defective board... Mackie built like a tank... Well I wouldn't ride in this tank because it wasn't working right!
I have used a few different mixers for streaming over the years. My excitement for this product was very high, I was so happy to finally find a soundboard to replace my behringer.
My stream setup uses 2 computers which makes this board a little bad for my situation. I need lots of stereo inputs, and forcing my stream PC to the two stereo USB returns was already difficult for me.
I would perfer NO USB return channels and just plugging in the proper amount of sound cards to mix in over this mess.
Not good for twitch. Hard pass. Got a beheringer x1832USB to replace my X2222 which just needs some light cleaning and repair after 5 years of daily use.
Huge disappointment @MACKIE!

I have one minor negative note. The monitor pots don’t adjust the left and right channels quite simultaneously, so as I am raising or lowering my headphone volume, the right channel lags against the left, making one ear louder than the other. This is a transient problem and as I continue twisting the knob it evens out. Probably a dud knob, and such a minor issue, but it’s distracting as I’m adjusting the volume. Life goes on, it’s just the monitor knob.
The USB functionality is worth talking about. If you’d like to monitor a USB signal from your computer and not send it out to main outs, you would send the signal from the software through USB 1-2 and adjust the monitored volume wirh the BLEND knob. If you’d like to mix the signal into your main outs, you send the signal from the software through the USB 3-4 channel, depress the USB 3-4 button on channel 9-10, then adjust the level/EQ/etc. through the 9/10 level knob. It’s really handy that you can do both!
The overall construction of the board is solid. I also prefer pots to sliders, as they get less dusty.
In short, I’m very happy with this board. It makes my AT2035 mic sound great, and gives me enough little knobs to twist to keep me happy.

Product was shipped with the mixer, power adapter (sent to Australia with US plug) a USB cable and software download (which I haven't tried). No sound cable was included (I came to notice that some rival mixers come with sound cable) so make sure you order your cables too.
