I recently bough the Twin Triumph (2016 Model) for my 1yo twins and we love it! It was hard to find reviews for the 2016 model so I thought I would leave one. We have a larger tandem stroller but I was looking for something side-by-side and compact. We use an Uppababy GLite with our 2yo and we have found that we use the umbrella stroller almost daily so we wanted a bigger one to be able to accommodate the twins. I looked at the new Uppababy GLink but the price tag is a little bit much in my opinion.

Things I love about the Twin Triumph: The sunshades are ridiculously large. There is a pull-out, reflective sun visor and it unzips in the back to expand an additional 10 inches. You can see an image of this on the Maclaren website. The seats recline. It is sturdy. There are small pouches on the back of each seat to hold a few items. It is very easy to maneuver. With 3 kids in strollers, it is small enough that I can keep it in my car at all times and I don't lose all of my trunk room. It is side-by-side, my kids prefer this so this was the main reason we started looking for a second double stroller.

Things that I think could be improved: The storage underneath is on the small side. Granted it is an umbrella stroller and I don't think it is smaller than any other umbrella stroller. There is no cup holder included, I bought it separately which wasn't a huge deal but it would be nice to get one included.

If you are looking for something compact yet robust, for the price this is an awesome stroller. It's not going to go off-roading with you but if you use an umbrella stroller frequently, you will love it!

Fits great in between doorways, folds up nicely in one piece and a smooth ride for the kids. it's capable of reclining enough for my newborn as well as holds my 2 or 4yr old. Very great quality material and wheels.

So far I love this stroller. We live in az which is why I purchased the newer model with the bigger canopy. It's a must and it's really been helpful. It really is very maneuverable for a side by side umbrella. The quality is top notch I was genuinely impressed. The only thing that's a draw back for me is that it's hard to close down with flip flops on. It hurts the top of my foot a little when wearing them, but it's only temporary. I didn't take away any from this because I still love the stroller. It's way more compact than any other double I have seen. Huge plus!!! It also has a very nice carry strap on the side.

Great for what is out there! Was looking for a compact double stroller that would not take up much room in the back of my Honda Pilot when I have the 3rd row up. Functionally this works smoothly and operates as it should. It is an umbrella stroller style and therefore does have a narrow seat so I would not suggest for older kids. My 4 year old, who is slender just fits in.

LOVE the storage in the back; two mesh basket style storage that actually holds alot given the space. We got this right before a trip to Disney and was able to store a bunch of snacks and kiddo extras without any problems. There are also 2 pouches with a cover that hold a few extra items like a water bottle or toys. The only downfall of the storage bins is that you do need to completely empty them in order to fold the stroller back up, which doesn't work if you are at Disney trying to get on some transportation vehicles.

The wheels run really smooth and quiet. Handles for pushing are placed right to walk comfortably, at least for me at 5'7". I have not had any problems walking and hitting the middle set of wheels. I do find it a bit hard to fold down the stroller if you are wearing flip flops as you need to push up on the 'button' with your foot to release the mechanism to let it fold. However, wearing sneakers this doesn't bother at all. Overall, folding the stroller is easy, once you have a few practice rounds in. Nothing complicated just new.

Overall, really like the stroller. Only gave 4 stars as it still takes up quite a bit of space in the back of my Honda Pilot (with the 3rd row up). I can easily back in stuff around it.

I actually looked at countless reviews of this stroller and the Uppababy G-Link on Youtube. I also was interested in the more expensive version of this stroller. I ended up order all of them and doing my own, in home side by side comparison, which I wished I had filmed. For our needs, the Maclaren twin triumph was hands down the obvious front runner. It seemed to be lighter weight, narrower, sharper look, easier to maneuver thanks to the 6 instead of 4 wheels. I also really like the pouch behind each child's seat for easy access items such as cell phone, wallet and sippy cups. My children are 1 and almost 3 so it was perfect for us. My kids seem comfy in it. The major reason why I waffled between this and the Uppababy was not even an issue by the time I received the product. I was concerned that there was not enough sun protection, but guess what???? The newest model has an extendable canopy that seems short but makes all the difference in the world- especially if you have two children who freak out when they have "sunny eyes". The older model which I think is sold for cheaper on Amazon does not have this extra little extendable shade and would not work for us. One con is there is no pushing with one hand- you really need two hands to keep this buggy moving straight. Also, I just never got the full hang of the Maclaren buckling system. It is clearly super secure but it is so cumbersome to me. I noticed that none of my other mommy friends seem to have this problem so I think it is a "me" issue. That being said, I have gotten much faster and it is not as annoying. the pros outweigh the cons for me on this stroller. Finally, it is super easy to fold up. I took the stroller through the airport and folded it up and plopped it right onto the belt at TSA. Perfect fit!Read more ›
