Here comes a new challenger! Get ready for the next battle when the two biggest fighting games clash head-to-head in Street Fighter X Tekken!
Created to appeal to the serious fighting game enthusiast, nothing brings the arcade experience closer to home than the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO. Approved by both Capcom and Namco Bandai, and embellished with exclusive game artwork, the FightStick PRO uses arcade-quality components from legendary Japanese arcade manufacturer, Sanwa Denshi. Featuring a Japanese-style ball-handled joystick and 30mm action buttons placed to match the Vewlix arcade cabinet configuration, arcade gamers will feel right at home.
Authentic Japanese-style Joystick & Buttons
The competition-ready Arcade FightStick PRO uses high-quality Sanwa parts, the very same parts that are found in Japanese arcade cabinets. The Sanwa JLF is the standard in high-quality, tournament-grade FightSticks.
8-Button Layout with Additional Multi-Speed Turbo Functionality
Eight Sanwa action buttons ensure that every attack, shot, and combo is easily accessible. Multi-speed Turbo functionality gives two distinct turbo speeds that can be mapped to any one of the action buttons on the Arcade FightStick PRO, and these Turbo settings can be monitored on the control panel and disabled for tournament play.
Premium-Quality Components with Genuine Arcade Layout
The eight-button Vewlix-style layout offers a classic and ergonomic Japanese-styled feel, while providing full access to an arsenal of moves. The Sanwa OBSF-30 action buttons respond with pinpoint accuracy and can withstand repeated use.
Controller Lock/Unlock Switch
A lock switch on the control panel provides the ability to lock out the use of Turbo functionality and prevents use of the PS button. No more accidental interruptions or automatic forfeitures in key moments during tournament matches!
3-Way Joystick Switch
The three-way switch gives added functionality for navigating in-game menus and playing games from other genres, including downloadable titles on the PlayStation Network. Easily switch between functionality for the left analog stick, right analog stick, or the default D-Pad setting.
Heavy Metal Base
This is no cheap plastic toy; the durable metal base increases the Arcade FightStick PRO’s weight for a solid, secure feel when draining your foe’s life bar. Easily unscrew the rubber feet to securely mount to a table or other solid surface.
13ft Cable with Internal Cable Storage
A 13-foot-long controller cable ensures maximum comfort no matter what your gaming setup is! Stash the cable in the internal storage compartment to keep your gaming weapon sleek and ready for travel.
Connects to the Console via Lag-free USB
Proven in and out of tournament play at the highest levels, the best players from around the globe prefer the Arcade FightStick PRO's high-quality wired USB connection over wireless controllers. From World Champion, Daigo "The Beast" Umehara of Team Mad Catz, to many of the top eight players from the EVOLUTION world finals, the Arcade FightStick PRO is the obvious choice for casual and competitive gamers alike.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2012Style: Line for Xbox 360Verified PurchaseMy first fight stick was the Hori VX, and now I've made the transition to the Mad Catz SFxT fight stick pro.
Description:
Made with quality materials. The fight stick utilizes an arcade style stick along with 8 buttons instead of my Hori's 6. Has a metal base which adds a comforting heft to it. The controller feels solid and durable, and has a compartment for a cable that has a length which exceeds my Hori's 10ft cable. Also, the controller has grooves on the bottom which I presume is for comfort. The difference between the Hori VX and this controller is the placement of the start/select buttons which are located at the front of the controller instead of being with the home and left/right bumper buttons (which is located at the top right corner of the fight stick). In addition, the glossy art is very attractive.
Performance:
The arcade stick is responsive and stable, more so than my Hori VX's. The buttons aren't as mushy and do not even need to be pressed hard in order for it to be registered. Also, with 8 buttons comes more customization than with 6. The added weight is an improvement over the VX's and the start/select button locations are surprisingly more comfortable.
Overall:
Holy crap this was an improvement! I would highly recommend for those to grab one, especially if one doesn't have a competition worthy fight stick like this. It is an improvement and the sense of durability is baffling. I'm sure if my truck ran over it, it would still be playable, but I'm not going to prove that statement because that would be stupid.
Grade: A+
Add. Info: Don't yank the stick! You could damage it.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2013Style: Cross for Xbox 360Verified PurchaseThis is a very solid fight stick and is a MUST for any player of fighting games. It is sturdy and well-built with a good weighty feel to it, but not too heavy at all. You can tell it is not cheap junk like some sticks. The Sanwa joystick and buttons are the real deal arcade components and can be replaced with readily available parts should anything wear out. I prefer to set the stick on the coffee table when playing and the rubber feet never allow it to slide out of place like others I've tried. Most prefer to play with the stick on their lap, which is comfortable, but I get better control on a solid surface.
I would have rated this stick at a 5/5, but had to knock a star off for a couple reasons:
1. Price is pretty high at this point (Nov 2013). I purchased the stick brand new a few months ago for $99 here on Amazon. I just don't understand the doubling in price on a product that has already been available for a while.
2. The stick should really come with an octagonal gate on the joystick instead of a square gate. Plus, you shouldn't have to void your warranty by opening the stick to install an octagonal gate. You will want this upgrade because it makes quarter-circle, half-circle and full-circle moves much more fluid and easier to pull off. Plan on upgrading with this $10 part also available on Amazon, plus it's an easy 10-minute install.
Overall extremely satisfied with this fight stick, which I didn't hesitate to purchase. I would recommend this stick to anyone.
Lezzz go video games!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2012Style: Cross for Xbox 360Verified PurchaseThis FightStick is probably one of, if not the best i've ever owned. It's responsive, fast, and looks great. Sadly I do not play fighting games anymore so it was quite a waste of money, but for the time I was using it it was very good. If you were looking for a good FightStick for a fairly good price this would be the one to buy. Also the Xbox 360 version is compatible with the PC and all games that support gamepads. For games that do not support gamepads you can use Joy2Key.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2012Style: Cross for Playstation 3Verified PurchaseMoving from a gamepad to a fightstick is a very big deal. Most of the 'top tier' players in the fighting game community all use a stick, and although I'm not aiming to reach the top by any means, I figured with some money lying about (and my birthday on the horizon), I should treat myself with a product like this.
First off, you should really commit to learning to use a stick. This thing is not cheap, and you don't want to buy something of this price without being absolutely sure you'll invest time into adjusting. If you have a friend who has an arcade fightstick like this or similar enough, try it out. Chances are that you've been on a joypad for a while now, so be prepared to lose a lot.
Once you go fightstick, you don't go back. The buttons are very sensitive (in a good way), and having a bigger joystick allows for more fluid motion input for your attacks.
Practice, practice, practice! Know that you will lose a lot when you begin. Be prepared to learn everything from the get go.
Anyway, onto the product itself. I enjoyed the packaging of this item. It comes in a window display and the box itself is sturdy and is plastered with SF x TK characters.
The actual stick itself has a great heft to it, so if you play with the stick sitting in your lap or on a table, it'll stay down. The buttons and stick are of Sanwa quality, which is top of the line. There's a turbo button, and the home button of course, as well as a lock feature that prevents it from being turned on by accident in the middle of battle. The wire that connects to your PS3 is quite lengthy, which is nice if you've got a larger TV and therefore need to sit back a bit further. Also, there's a compartment at the top of the unit to stow it away for travel.
Above all, I highly recommend this stick. It's clearly well made and might be a collectors item at some point!
Remember, only go for this stick if you're really willing to learn how to use it, which will require quite some time for adjustment! Good luck and have fun!

leblondReviewed in France on February 1, 20135.0 out of 5 stars Très bon produit

MauroReviewed in Spain on February 4, 20135.0 out of 5 stars Perfecto.
Style: Cross for Xbox 360Verified PurchaseExactamente tal y como esperaba.

JanReviewed in Germany on July 18, 20125.0 out of 5 stars Fightstick PRO
Style: Line for Xbox 360Verified Purchasedie PRO series von madcatz ist ausgesprochen gut. ;)

Style: Cross for Xbox 360Verified Purchasedeserves full stars as is exactly as described and arrived earlier.
Takes some getting used to but have managed to get further on the SF4 challenges.
buttons are super responsive and the stick is incredible to use.
Don't be disparaged by the initial difficulty in using an arcade stick, Worth it in the end.
