These beans are perfect for multiple uses, although I primarily use them for making vanilla extract. They're a bit shorter than the more "standard" 7 to 8-in bean, but serve exactly the same purpose. I've purchased about at least half a dozen packages and I'm sure to be buying more in the future. They have a great smell and flavor, arrive moist and pliable, make reliably excellent vanilla extract, and work wonderfully in other applications where you need to cut and scrape the bean. Excellent value for the money.

I wanted to make my own Vanilla and I found this organic vanilla. I was pleased when I received my order. It was soft and not dried out like I have found with other beans.
The price was good and all 50 beans were usable. I can't say how the vanilla turned out so far. I bought good quality liquor to use.
The color is a nice color and the smell is nice. I shake the bottles every week. It will be a few more weeks before I can use it. I am hoping to make a few more batches to give as gifts.

I was worried after reading the negative reviews that these wouldn't be good quality, but after reading the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance and purchased 50 because the price was good. It's true that all the beans are not plump, but some are, and the rest are skinny. However, the fragrance of the beans were strong, and each bean had enough seeds for my extract. I use ten beans each time I refresh my extract, and then I vacuum seal the rest in packs of ten so that I can use them later. I didn't have any issues of mold or unsanitary packaging. I know that these things can be a hit or miss, so I took a chance. I have had vanilla beans of extremely high quality from Sri Lanka, but they were directly flown to me by someone who visited there. Finding that kind of quality here is pretty close to impossible, so I set my expectations accordingly.
