Once you get it installed, it ends up awesome! I love the Madden series, maybe not as much as FIFA, but this is by far the most in-depth and involving game in this franchise. I thoroughly enjoy it.

Pros: New updated rosters, more involved Franchise mode. Online play involves both solo and head to head, and you can play with multiple people.

Con: As with any game, this game is still being updated as bugs are found, so there are a few bugs, but they don't happen very often! I love the game regardless, and have recommended it to many friends. The online code makes it much easier as you don't have to deal with the disc version!

I am 60 years old and I am very computer literate. I have an MD degree, so I am not an idiot. I downloaded the game to my xbox one.
Put the code in and looks like everything is working. However I can't play the game because my password is not correct. Sorry, but my password is correct. I only put the password in 20 times and it never worked. I tried to change the thing to my phone number. I went to xbox.com and microsoft.com to get help. Their chat did not work. So I spent 5 hours messing with this and now I want to throw it in the lake.
Please, if you want to sell something either make sure it works or give us some support. Now I am going to ask for my money back.
I hate this piece of crap. I feel like anybody that had the experience I had would feel the same. I always buy with American Express so I have help when these big corporations fail to sell and support a product.

I actually dig it. But what's up with the weeird slow down sluggish game play at certain moments? Also I've never had more field goals blocked in any video game ever. It's a beautiful game to look at. EA needs to ease up a bit on trying to be so realistic to the point it doesn't feel like it. Field goals, running etc.

I like the game and love Franchise mode. However, there are a lot of save game bugs. I have started keeping two save game files, because you never know when one will become corrupted. There are also a lot of times when you cannot save or load your game at all. EA Sports has made this better than when the game was first released, but there are still serious problems with it.

I rarely review things but there is only one review for this and the guy gave it one star because he can't figure out how to access his game. It's really easy. There is a button that says 'redeem on Xbox.com' and when you click it you log into your Xbox live account and the game automatically starts downloading on your Xbox. Automatic. You don't even need a code.

There are enough improvements in this year's version I think to justify buying it. It's already hard when Madden is the only game in town, but there have been steady improvements for sure. The new playing modes in Franchise Mode help speed up the pace, like Key Moments. No difference really between X1 and PS4 if you have both.
