Ir was so classically ridiculous, asinine, plain stupid -- she let Michael get away with the worst, yet put all the stress and suffering on Jack, who was so wonderful, awesome, beautiful, perfect, and physically so mouthwatering that I had to repeat a mantra that he was fictional. It didn't seem as though Syd appreciated all she had.
Anyway, to me Sydney's insecurities and stupidity ruined a perfect story. Less drama, more brain stimulation for Sydney (the potential was there - takes brains and talent to memorize and remember all those lyrics and musical arrangements to the hundreds of songs she knew), and better closure for Jack where his Daddy issues are concerned. I didn't like that he really didn't satisfactorily process and reach peaceful resolution about Jack, Sr.. The ending rushed the end of the tour, his dad's death, getting rid of his first business, and Jenna. Ah, perfect segue to the biggest mystery ever -- how could it even be possible for a former porn actress turned manager to afford to BUY Jack's share of this multi-million dollar company?!?! Absurd. We're supposed to believe that Jenna, who has been panting after Jack,, had the means and capital to buy Jack out? And, since we're buying that fairytale, we're also going to believe that she'll really accept Sydney is Jack's choice of life partner, thereby stopping her pursuit of Jack for herself. We definely needed more.than Jack just stating he's giving up pornography since Sydney had to end her summer musical rock n roll tour of Europe, and that Jenna bought him out. Yeah right. Unbelievable. Unrealistic. No matter how much he was willing to sacrifice for Sydney, Jack was, at heart, a businessman who LIKED his part in his business. Therefore, Jenna would have had to have a couple hundred MILLION at the cery least to hand over for full ownership. Meh to this part of the conclusion. In retrospect, the only parts I loved were Jack, his personality and skills/experience with sex, how his love for Sydney consumed him, and Sienna who was all Sydney was, unfortunately, not. Two stars.
The romance between Jack and Sydney is absolutely delicious! I couldn’t put this book down.
Sydney has been offered a singing contract to tour with her past boyfriend’s band, along with her bestie, Sienna. Jack knows this has always been Sydney’s dream, and as much as he hates that she’s touring Europe with her old flame, Justin, he agrees with her that she needs to do this. The problem is that Justin still wants Sydney and has a problem taking no for an answer.
The chemistry between Jack and Sydney is so beautiful that you will swoon. Fantastic read!
I love how Jack supports Sydney. He makes it his mission to watch out for her and to help her with her wildest dreams and aspirations. Even when things take a hard turn, he’d rather keep her safe and risk her leaving than for her to not be safe. How amazing is that?!?
I love the relationship that they share. I love how in love they are.
Great story. Highly recommend. Moving on to another book by Vi. Seriously liking her books thus far. I like her style.
I loved how both books start on an airplane with the characters going somewhere. I think the flight attendant the second time was more fun to travel with and made the long flight more bearable.
The romance between the two characters is just beautiful, I love how attentive Jack is to Sydney, always aware when her facial expressions change or her body language changes. Sydney comes to appreciate this feature of Jack. Sydney can tell when Jack is near her even without seeing him her body reacts to his presence and he always knows when she needs him near to help.
Of course the story is not without a challenge or two like Mr. Cole, Jenna, Justin, and the other obstacles the characters encounter, but they are handled in rational ways and together they learn how to deal. Jack is finally honest with Sydney about his feelings and why he acts the way he does at times.
I really loved the true friendship between Sienna and Sydney. No guy ever came between them and they didn't fight over stupid things. They truly were best friends and were always there to lean on one another or come to one another's rescue. They understood one another and let each other be their own person. Well written and appreciated that Sydney had Sienna in her life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, both books gave me the desire to keep reading and not put the books down. The love scenes are VERY hot, Jack is demanding in the bedroom but then can be slow and sweet when she needs him to be. They totally understand each other.
I am a Vi Keeland fan now and will purchase more books of hers. The story progressed at a good pace and I never found myself skimming because of boredom with the story. The characters were developed well and while Jack was wealthy it didn't seem to be too "off the wall" with his actions. I wish there were more books in the series as i love this story. Jack and Sydney are a beautiful couple and their story is just delicious.

I still loved crazy Sienna, you get what you see! She was sassy, fun, took no prisoners , was hoping she might have found herself a forever man, but she certainly didn't go without.
Syd came into her own in this book, living her dream, admittedly she was preoccupied with Jack in her thoughts which was why it didn't appear to be as much fun as it should have been.
Jack, sexy, handsome, sensitive man, if only he were real! he absolutely adored Syd, and you could tell he was struggling with Syd being away on tour, and was really sweet when they did manage to get together.
I liked the boys from the other band, at first, then Justin began to show his real colours, ending in an assault. Kyle was really sweet, and was everything Justin wasn't!
After the funeral, I thought that Jenna was going to be a bitch and she didn't disappoint, so glad that she didn't break them.
The ending was great, but I feel we missed out on the three important elements, the engagement, wedding and birth.
