I’ve had these 2 days. First day they worked great. They only had 3 modes. Today, the lights aren’t as bright and the only thing flashing is the color red. My son has some that I bought the same day and his is doing the same thing. Not worth the money. I really thought this would work better and I am so disappointed. If I could give these no stars I would.

Too short for skates

These aren’t long enough or strong enough for skates. They are short for adults skates. Probably would work well with a small child’s pair of skates.

Not for high top skates

Despite Amazon suggesting these for high tops these are NOT long enough for high top skates. No where near long enough. Maybe they'll work for low tops and regular sneakers. Wasted my money.

FYI: When you turn them on they randomly flash/strobe/blink/marquee and cycle through the color spectrum. When the button is pressed a 2nd and 3rd time it ONLY displays white/bluish color while flashing/blinking.

Gave it 3 stars for Amazon suggesting the wrong thing and making me waste my money. However, they do work as shoestrings and do light up like advertised.

There is wiring inside it, so don't tie them or crimp the laces. Just lace them in your shoes much as possible and tuck them in your shoes. I used them for a party and they lasted all night.

I’m a delivery person so I use them so that drivers and ppl can see me in the dark
I used them consistently for 2 weeks before the battery’s went dead but don’t feel buying more batteries are worth it 🤷🏾‍♀️ They cost more than the Laces

These shoelaces are great! They are really bright; I use them when I walk at night. I've gotten compliments from them! So far they seem sturdy and the batteries are still working after about a month of use (walking 3-4 times a week). I've had a different set of light up laces and one of them broke fairly quickly. Get these laces, they are fun!

I bought these shoe laces for a night time skating party. They were not long enough to lace all the way to the top so I used them on top of my skate laces. I had lots of compliments on them through the night. I would definitely recommend these based on price and the quality.
