Product Description

If you look beyond the coconut fruit you’ll find the coconut blossom, the source of our organic, Non-GMO and sustainable coconut sugar. Surprisingly, it doesn’t taste a bit like a coconut. Organic coconut sugar is a perfect 1:1 replacement for refined sugar. Organic coconut sugar contains naturally occurring nutrients like magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, B vitamins and amino acids.

Has a milder sweet taste. I use it on fruit and in cooking. If there is any coconut flavor it is very slight and not noticeable. For myself I feel it does not spike my blood sugar as much as regular sugar. I have recommended to another diabetic friend who feels the same. But of course this is not sugar free.

this is the first sugar alternative that i found that i actually "like". I can't stand artificial sweeteners and stevia has too much of a "leafy" aftertaste. this has a slight aftertaste as well, which is why i said it took getting used to, but this is almost as sweet as cane sugar. which i guess it's because it actually "is" sugar, made from coconuts(?). I don't have diabetes, but i bought it for the "lower glycemic index", because i figured it might be more "healthy" to put in my coffee(?)

Love the product and have always purchased the 3 pound size. I use it in coffee every morning. (Pro tip -- add lavender buds to your grounds for a refreshing flavor and also calms anxiety)
Last time I went to buy the 3 lb size again, I went to my prior orders and clicked on "buy again" and Amazon sent me the 1 lb size, which is used up exactly 2 months later, yet costs only 2 dollars less than the 3 lb size! I just ordered the 3 lb size again directly from the page this time. So just a tip if you use a lot and can store it, there is significant savings on the larger size.
