My original 5-star review:
I bought this specifically because it is smaller than average and I wanted something that would actually fit me at 5’1”. It is perfect. It’s also nice to have a smaller footprint since my house is tiny.
The chair is also very comfortable (soft, plush padding) and will work well for sleeping in after I have major surgery next week. The motor is very quiet and the transition is generally smooth. (Every once in a while there’s a little jolt but it’s not significant and it’s not most of the time.)
When reclining, the footrest moves more quickly at the beginning so that you can still sit upright somewhat while having your feet up. Then the back picks up a bit. It’s a good balance.
