Satisfied
This is my first time purchasing dried elderberries and not disappointed. There are some white and brown berries that I just discarded and very little twigs or stems. I just made a batch of syrup(3 c water, 3/4 c elderberries, one cinnamon stick, one whole star anise, and 1/4 tsp cloves.) boiled all together until thick and reduced by half(for me took an hour and 20m approximately) then let cool, discard spices used and strain and mash berries to release more of their juices. I did small batches at a time until all were mashed then whisked in 3/4 c honey, and poured in a mason jar and put in fridge. Made 8-10oz. Tastes pretty good. Hoping it keeps sickness away this winter! I’d recommend.
