For some reason, this seasoning is extremely difficult to find in Northern NJ (Sussex County) if not impossible. I checked everywhere that one would think to find it: A&P, Shoprite, Weiss Foods, Wallmart and some local food marts and Nada.
The sauce was recommended to me by a friend in Minnesota to be used in a marinade for Venison and after using the Maggi seasoning with the Venison, I was absolutely pleased with it. Extremely tasteful and made a world of difference when added to the Venison. Although there is a recipe for the meat that Maggi's is an integral part of, the recipe is the key to the flavor, though you can't complete the recipe without Maggi seasoning. My friend from Minn. said, "get Maggi's and you'll never eat Venison without it." He was 100% right.
This is a good seasoning. Buy it and you won't be disappointed in the flavor it adds to steaks, etc.
