I was young when BoneyM dominated the world. The disco music was fantastic. This DVD is a great compilation of videos of BoneyM, where you can see the lights, dress, hair styles (i like the afro hair) and many other things. The opening video is amazing! "Rivers of Babylon" is my favorite melody, but i recommend "El Lute" and "We kill the World". BoneyM will be part of my life forever.

The BoneyM DVD I received was defective - several song recordings would not play well. The item was returned to the despatcher address (recorded delivery), and I am yet to hear from them about a proper replacement.

Will Amazon kindly let me know when I can get a proper non-defective replacement?

Its a case of listen and learn. I knew little of the groups story. It was just the death of Bobby Farrell he died at the age of 61 from heart failure that
caused me to remember their sound. So I bought the DVD. There are no great production values. Never-the-less the quality of honest effort comes across and you just wished for more success for them. The modern critics talk down their music as they talk down calypso music too. This is a mistaken position to take.
RIP Bobby, thanks for your contribution. We'll remember with affection.
