Honestly this product was totally useless, and does NOT do what it says it does. This is the first review I've ever written on Amazon, and only because I was so shocked by how useless this product was! I bought this to make smoothies and things like guacamole and cauliflower rice etc. First I tried to make some cauliflower rice, after all the wonderful claims the product makes about being able to chop vegetables. The largest cup that comes with it will not even hold 4 florets of cauliflower. You have to chop them up really small to even get them to fit in. Then, when you come to actually use the bullet, it doesn't even work. Literally the food just bounces around a bit, and comes out in massive chunks. Anything that isn't at the bottom of the cup near the blades doesn't even get a look in, even if you shake the cup around after each 'pulse', or even if you leave the blades running on full for 30 seconds.

So I thought maybe I would try it with a different food - this time I decided I would follow their included recipe for guacamole.... NOPE. It basically creamed the bottom section of the food and there was not a chance of any of the food in the top section of the cup getting blended. There was also no hope of making a smoothie, as all the cups it comes with were far too small - you'd have to make it in 2-3 batches! Very misleading advertising.

Honestly, this product was totally useless.... Too small, and doesn't work. It only comes with two very small blade attachments, and all the cups are TINY. Don't waste your money!

I read all the reviews before I ordered this item and I thought... surely it can't be that bad. My original magic bullet lasted over 14 years, and it worked fantastic until the very last time when it died. So I ordered another one. I used it 1 time to grind coffee, and the second time I used it, it burned up. I don't know what they did, or what they changed, but these are not the same as the original ones, and these are garbage. Do not waste your money. Do not waste your time. Buy something different.

I was hoping that this would make meal prep much less work, as it says, "With the Magic Bullet you can chop, mix, blend, whip, grind and more--all in 10 seconds or less"! Unfortunately, such is not the case, I accomplished very little in 10 seconds using this device and here are the reasons.
The "Tall" cup is not very big so, unless what your putting into it is already small or pre-chopped, you have to process it manually to get it into the cup so it can chop or mix or blend it.
The manual says to not run the device for more than 60 seconds or you risk damaging the unit, however if you put anything hard in it (ice cubes, carrot slices, celery, etc...) with other ingredients, they certainly don't get chopped up in less than 60 seconds, even using the "Pulsing Method"
The motor doesn't seem to be sufficient to actually liquefy leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, greens, and celery, all of which need to be pre-chopped.
The mugs are not microwave safe, which limits you from using them for prep and storage of anything that needs heating or warming prior to drinking and you only get 2 storage lids for 6 containers.
Despite these shortcomings for my needs it does have it's good qualities as well...
It's an excellent grinder of coffee beans, nuts, and dried goods
And it works very well with softer foods like fruits, soft vegetables and dairy products.
Bottom Line - we all have our own needs and this tool may or may not fit yours, it didn't fit mine however, I can easily see how it fits others

This is my second Magic Bullet in 10+ years, and only because I lost the base to my last one during my most recent move. I considered buying something different, but given that I had a shelf full of Magic Bullet accessories, and it served me so well, it seemed only right to get another one.

I use this mainly for blending cat food (older cat) and making my smoothies. It does an excellent job with both. And of course you can't go wrong with margaritas in this.

I've never mastered the art of chopping food into salsa the way the commercials show. I just end up with blended veggies. But then, I don't live in magic tv land where real science doesn't apply (haha). Despite that, I do love this little appliance and find myself using it almost every day.

The noise is a factor though, and what will keep it from ever achieving 5-stars. Luckily it does it's job quickly, since no one can tolerate more than a minute (preferably less) of the sound of the motor. It is what it is, and I certainly don't regret my purchase.

I had the original magic bullet for around 10 years. It was awesome and had great blending power and longevity. I recently bought the “ updated version” and can’t be more disappointed. When blending a shake with ice already crushed the motor over heats and stops half way through. Avoid this product if you are needing to blend something for more than 30 seconds.

My OG Magic bullet lasted like 10 years. This one I had for a few short weeks and it just died. If I tried blending anything thicker than plain water it would have a burning smell. Blending power was horrible. I only used it to make runny smoothies. My old one would power through straight hard Ice with no issue. This one couldn’t even do something like a banana without struggling. And wouldn’t even get the stuff off the bottom of the cup. Save your money and go with a higher powered ninja or the like.
This will NOT replace your old magic bullet.
