No, this type of machine isn't as convenient as having a fixed, larger-capacity under-counter unit right at your fingertips all the time. But it's tolerably close. Certainly it beats hand-washing all to heck.
Edit 12 January 2018--- Ceased working after about 8 months of light use; "water" indicator won't come on even with known good hookup. Changed five-star review to two stars.
Oh, almost forgot about the faucet adapter. Yes, one is provided. Yes, the ones you find being sold separately are better and hold on better. Also, I used the adapter in the male configuration threading into my faucet's plastic female threads. The 2 seals stacked together was to thick for a proper hold under the water pressure. I carefully cut one of them in half with a razor (do at your own risk). Then, I placed the cut one in the bottom and the uncut one on top and was able to thread the adapter in until it bottomed in the threads. Holds great and no leaks.
This fits most of the things I used to put in full size dishwasher. Pots and pans won't really go in, but I always hand wash those anyway. My plates are larger than 10", but with a little bit of angling, they fit just fine. I run this about 5 times a week for my 2 person house hold and it seems rock solid. Doesn't seem to need a rinsing aid, just regular dishwasher detergent.
Been using it for about 12 weeks. Already worth the price I paid!
