I really like the Apple Magic Mouse. The gestures are touch controls are great but as most know this is the most uncomfortable mouse ever and has probably the worst ergonomics of any mouse ever created. I was skeptical that these little rubber stick on pads would do anything to help but I figured why not give them a shot. To my surprise they really help the comfort of the Magic Mouse and make it way more usable. They add just enough additional area to grip the mouse making it usable and comfortable for all day use while working.

These grips really make an improvement in the comfort of the Apple Magic Mouse 2. Before these arrived, I could never use the mouse for more than a few days. The 3M adhesive is professionally pre-affixed to the rubber grips, and it's they're easy to install by lining them up with the feet on the mouse. The grips hold tight with a strong bond to the mouse.

Two quirks keep me from giving a five star review, one, there is only one large grip included in the box, which I prefer to use on the right side instead of the thumb side, and it would be nice to have one more for balance. Second, the rubber grips are close in height to the feet on the Magic Mouse. Not exactly the same hight, but very slightly lower. When using the mouse on a soft mousepad, the rubber grips do graze the mousepad surface, which added a bit of drag to the mouse, which I corrected by increasing the tracking speed in MacOS mouse settings.

I'm not a regular Mac user for the most part. I got a Magic Mouse with a laptop at my job a couple years back and really loved the two-finger gesture features for navigation.

Now I'm doing more work on the laptop, and it's kind of uncomfortable. I have biggish hands, and while it's not awful, it's not great, either. These grips have made a big difference, added no real weight, and seem like they're holding on very well.

It's definitely important to wash your hands well before applying them, and be sure to use alcohol (91% isopropyl is great) to clean the mouse thoroughly. It will help the 3M sticky tape stick longer and last.

I recently purchased an Apple Magic Mouse for my MacBook Pro because the Microsoft Mouse I had been using started working like crap because of incompatibility issues with my wireless Microsoft Mouse and my Mac’s new OS.

Microsoft decided not to support the latest Mac OS.

This left me no choice, if I wanted a remote mouse, to spend $80 to purchase an Apple Magic Mouse.

I don’t like the Apple mouse as much as the Microsoft mouse, but there is no other option. The Apple Mouse does random operation without me knowing why, it has too many features, several I don’t want or need.

The Microsoft mouse had nice round ergonomic lines and was very comfortable to hold in my hand.

The Apple Magic Mouse is flatter and has sharp abrupt edges, it felt almost painfully to grasp in my hand.

These ergonomic rubber grips fixed that problem and I can know hold the Magic Mouse without the discomfort of the sharp edge on the mouse.

I still am frustrated by the random operations of the mouse and hopefully I will figure out how to make the mouse do exactly as I command it to
