We returned from the Netherlands, where we visited Escher's museum (in Den Haag) with my almost 7 year old. He was fascinated with his work, and continued talking about it and wanted to go back.
When we got home I searched for a book that would contain plenty of images, and too a gamble with this book. Success! This is exactly what I was looking for. My son loves looking at the pictures, tries to copy some with tracing paper, and now is even making his own original work based on Escher.
They also include some letters Escher wrote, which I find to be very interesting.
