Top Customer Reviews
My only issue is that display is somewhat subtle. It's easy to not realize that you haven't actually "started" the timer.
There is one button that says "timer/start" and to get to a particular degree of heat you want, you hit that "timer/start" button. This heats it to the degree and you have to wait for it to get to that temperature and once it gets there, the machine beeps, and then you have to remember to hit the "timer/start" button one more time to get the timer to actually start counting down. The only real notification you've gotten that the timer was actually initiated is that the colon between the hour and minute starts blinking. This is pretty subtle and is kind of annoying because if you are say, steaming something but didn't realize the timer was not actually started, it'll still be steaming all along anyway.... it's happened to me a few times now.
The handle for the lid is also not lined with anything so it gets ridiculously hot and you have to use gloves.
None of this is a deal breaker though. I'd still get it in a heartbeat. It would just be really cool if it got upgraded.
