Cleans dirty jewelry, eyeglasses, watches, utensils and more
You won’t believe how your items will shine with just water! Simply fill the tank with water, insert your items, and you’ll see professional jewelry cleaning results. A bit of liquid hand/dish soap can be added for enhanced cleaning, but all the work is done by the ultrasonic waves. This powerful unit cleans in minutes without damaging delicate items. So whether it’s your dirty everyday items or priceless treasures, the MAGNASONIC Digital Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner will safely make them sparkle again.
Ultrasonic sound waves for a deep and gentle clean
This powerful cleaner packs a gentle punch. 42,000 Hz of ultrasonic energy waves create millions of microscopic cleansing bubbles that gently lift dirt and grime away without using harsh chemicals or scrubbing. The motion of the water may look mild, but it’s actually producing a deep and thorough clean to penetrate the most difficult areas.

There are 5 different cycles to choose from (90, 180, 280, 380, & 480 seconds), depending on the cleaning time you require, for easy and precise control. Just select the desired time and watch the digital display count down to the end of cleaning and then automatically shut off.

Worked great for getting the nasty grunge out of the nose pads on my eyeglasses. We haven't used it on my wife's jewelry much because of the various recommendations out there about putting gemstones (and synthetic ones) into an ultrasonic cleaner. Don't know details. So I am pretty happy so far (a couple weeks).
BUT DANGER DANGER DANGER: One of my pairs of eyeglasses has a dark blue paint coating on the metal front piece. The glasses are 3 years old and had a couple of small, but obvious paint chips from wear and tear. After use in the ultrasonic cleaner a few times, there are *many* more places where the paint is gone. Took a while for me to realize it, but now it's pretty obvious. Apparently there were a lot of very small rough spots in the paint after 3 years and the ultrasonics "cleaned them" off the glasses entirely. Which is what you want when the imperfections are dirt and grunge. But I couldn't see these imperfections and I got surprised. My unpainted metal frames had no problems.
Anyway -- it's proof that the cleaner works. Really well. So watch out.
I'm still glad we got the cleaner. I guess I should have read more about ultrasonic cleaners before putting those glasses in. The nose pads certainly look nice. See photo.
I am really happy with what this thing does and would recommend it.
I use water with a capful of solution and I empty it after each use. It is a good size for traveling, too. In this price range, it is definitely a great choice.
So the setup was extremely simple. I did purchase a concentrate (also from Amazon) but the instructions state you can use tap water. I filled it up with tap water right below the max fill line and then put 2 cap fulls of concentrate. Then I put my ring in the basket and dropped her in for a bath. The device defaulted to 180 secs and I left it there. She comes out squeeky clean every time. Oh and the cleaner is rather small and fit nicely on my bathroom counter-top. As I am brushing my teeth in the morning my ring gets a bath. All-in-all I definitely recommend this jewelry cleaner.
