Not what I expected but good bike.

This is the first exercise bike I’ve ever personally owned. I’ve been to spin classes and loved it so I wanted to be able to exercise in my own home on my own schedule. I had tried to find one that was similar to the kinds used at my local gym. The bike at my gym has a resistance knob that clicks as you turn it so you can count which level of resistance you are on. This bike’s knob just turns back and forth to tighten or loosen so you have to go by feel rather then listening to clicking. I do not like that. Kind of bummed but I’m hoping I just need to become more familiar with the bike and get a better feel for it. I also want to follow YouTube videos of spin classes. I’ve found that they all talk about where they want your RPMs to be. Unfortunately this bike doesn’t keep track of RPMs. It will tell you your distance and your MPH. So that was another disappointment. My fault since I didn’t actually know what I was looking for till I got it. Probably should have done more research before buying. The bike seems well made. I do wish I bought a different bike now but I still think it’s a good buy and I’m excited to be able to spin anytime I want.

I purchased a folding bike first because I wanted a small footprint, and the resistance and ergonomics wasn't what I was looking for. I contacted the company and they were really responsive. First they tried to see if the other bike would work for me and when it didn't they replaced it with this bike. The other bike was just fine for what it is, it just wasn't what I was looking for. But this bike is perfect! it was incredibly easy to put together and feels really solid. It's footprint is nice and small and fits in my bedroom no problem. It is quiet and sturdy, it makes no noise at all and doesn't move at all when I ride. I stand up on it a lot too! The seat is very comfortable and not tilted. The ergonomics are great and the pedals are right where they need to be. The resistance knob is the classic spin bike knob so you can get the resistance just the way you want it. The digital controls are simple but I didn't need or want to pay the price for a complicated computer system. I just wanted a really comfortable quiet bike that I could really crank on and get a real workout. This is the solid, no fuss option and the price is just right!

If you like the seating of a comfort bike this is not for you.Handlebar adjust up and down but the bars don't rotate at all so if you don't have extra long arms you will be in a racing bike position which for me at 64 years old and 5'5 tall these bike didn't work at all for me so I went back to my upright noisy ex. bike.Bike was quit and every thing work well but not for me,but if your younger and don't mind leaning to reach the bars it overall a good bike and the price is good.

Good starter bike

The bike was pretty easy to assemble, however it does require 2 people as its a bit heavier to move around on your own. I am going to replace the pedals as they are annoying to get your feet in and out of so I want something easier to just place my feet and pedal. I did purchase a gel seat as the original seat is not comfortable at all. It makes a small sound but I imagine that is because it's magnetic resistance but it's not loud, I wear headphones to watch my Kindle. I like that it's smaller and on wheels so it doesn't take up much space. Plus if I need to move it I can pretty quickly. Overall a great starter bike but if you don't need all the bells and whistles. I would have given it a 5 if not for the seat, pedals and small sound!

Broke in less than a year

I’ve had this bike for less than a year. First thing I noticed is that the frame isn’t perfectly aligned. But I was okay with that for the price.

Second thing I noticed is that the seat doesn’t go back and the handle bars don’t raise as much as needed (I’m only 5’10”).

But worst part is that the resistance knob started slipping in less than a year. Looks like the threads were worn out. I have not been able to find replacement parts and will likely buy another bike to replace this. Don’t buy this junk.

Was super excited to get this bike when arrived. I felt the seat was a little small and not comfortable that could have been an easy fix however the seat completely broke the 5th time I used the bike. Specifically it broke where it is connected to the bike so when you sit down the seat leans back. The bike is unusable now.

Too Small For Normal Human

I learned of this bike in Forbes, where it was touted as the best stationary bike for the money. But, after 1.5 hours of putting the thing together, I realized it was way too small for me to ride. The only way I could pedal it was by standing up and bending over at a 90 degree angle (I'm only 5'10"). The Amazon ad said the company, Bar Wing, had excellent 24/7 customer service. However, when I tried to find their CS number, I was completely flummoxed. I called Amazon CS, and they couldn't Bar Wing's CS number either. They said I should return the bike, but that I had to repackage it for UPS pickup. So, after two hours of repackaging and $20 worth of duct tape, I had it ready for the UPS man. At least the repackaging was a good workout. Unless you're a hobbit, this is not the bike for you.

Very happy - Assembly Trouble

So far so good. Super quite, lots of adjustment features. Biggest issue I had was square head bolts on the feet are smaller than the cut holes. One bolt was unable to fully tighten as the bolt kept spinning but also unable to unscrew it. I added so tape around the heads on the other let 3 to prevent this. I spent a lot more time than I should have. Besides that, I’m happy.
