Can something as simple as a screen makes you happy? Definitely yes. I bought this screen for my balcony door. I have been looking for this type of screen for years and finally found one. Here are pros and cons:

PROS:
1. Size: my door 36" x 80" and I bought the screen in 38"x82. It fits perfectly. Make sure you yank the screen up so it doesn't hit the floor when installing.

2. The color white match the white trim of my door frame.

3. Magnetic closure in center closes and opens easily.

CONS:
1. Black magnet gives off black shadow so not aesthetically pleasing. Black magnets should be enclosed in white silicone or plastic sleeves.

2. Those white pin are flimsy and broke when I nailed it. It should be thicker and stronger. I ended up putting too many on top and not enough for the sides. How about have some markings on where to place the pins and provide stronger pins plus extra pins.

3. The top portion can have better construction such as strong magnetic tape instead of Velcro or punched holes with metal rings to hang the screen.

4. Velcro tape wrinkles so you need to really stretch it.

This is a decent screen considers it is only $21.68. I don't know it's durability so will report on this at a later date. Overall, I am happy with this screen.

I bought my screen over 2 years ago and it is still working as great as it did when I first put it up. I had previously purchased at least 4 of the cheaper screens. My only question is I'm not sure how to clean it. After years it has quite yellowed. Will bleach be too strong?

During the warmer months I like to leave my backdoor open so my pup can roam freely through the house and yard. The only problem with this is flies and other creepy crawlies also get in. A few weeks ago a bee was buzzing inside the house and I freaked out. I had had it with bugs getting in. I ordered this in hopes I can avoid this problem. My trim and outside door is white so I liked that this came in white as an option. Most other screens I saw online were only available in black. This magnetic screen door is easy to install I was able to set it up in less than 30 min. The hardest part is finding the middle of the door then finding the middle of the screen. Once you figure that out it is all down hill from there. I decided to hang mine up using the push pins as opposed to the hook and loop with adhesive backing. It comes with both options you just use which ever works best for you. I was concerned my pup would have an issue with it, either she would be to afraid to go through it or it wouldn't fully close behind her making it useless. However I am happy to report neither are a problem. She uses her nose to press gently on the screen and it just pops right open. She passes through and as she does the magnets close behind her. Every once in a while if she runs out the door quick and it flies back half of the screen will get stuck to the metal door however it doesnt happen often. All and all this is a success so far. I have definitely noticed there aren't any bugs flying around after a day of having the doors open.

My son and daughter-in-law have this screen at their back door. Since a screen door would not fit at my back door, I ordered this and have only one little regret. It was so easy to install and works perfectly for two cats and a mini-Dachshund. BUT, the sun heats up that side of my house and the tape came unstuck. Now I have no choice but to use the push pins, IF I can find them. This is still an amazing product!
