Rose doesn't just say what is wrong with some conventional law of attraction teachings, she gives you a collection of techniques which are 'work-arounds' if you lack power in an area which is important for magnetizing money. And she outlines a very practical program for becoming someone who magnetizes money. One of the things I've seen with Rose's books is that they are great value for money.
-- "Psychic but Sane"
[This] was my first book of hers and it touches on a very wide array of subjects. It's been an insightful look at the causal energetic patterns that underlie our apparent material life....
Rose highlights healthy and unhealthy examples of how the rich handle other aspects of their lives and how energetic literacy can help us find balance.
She offers quite a few simple techniques for getting to know our own energy states. And she reframes some common techniques like goal setting. Thus, how we can live healthy and productive lives yet remain connected to source.
-- "Observations on the Way Home"
Very highly recommended reading. This how-to helps readers discover what can really help to bring success, based on applying energetic literacy skills to the pursuit of wealth and success.
The author's credentials include "Aura Reading Through All Your Senses," an international bestseller on practical uses of aura reading.
From the Author
Economy or no economy, some people today are making lots of money. Many are making it in Loudoun County. What, you never heard of this place where I live? Loudoun County, in Northern Virginia, has been listed by the U.S. Census as one of America's 10 wealthiest counties.
Not Hollywood. Not Silicon Valley. On this day when I'm writing to you, June 16, 2015, Loudoun County has scored either #1 or #2 in the U.S.A. For the past five years and more.
Well, you probably haven't heard of Rose Rosetree, either. But you still might want to check out my book about practical secrets for success and prosperity.
Could it be? Sometimes the people and places one wouldn't expect to know about much about money... actually do.
PRACTICAL SECRETS BASED IN EFFECTIVELY READING PEOPLE'S ENERGIES
You see, that's the unique perspective I bring to the enterprise of making money. My system of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses® makes it possible to research, in depth and detail, what is going on with people energetically. Actually this is the only trademarked system for reading auras in America.
Ha, I'll bet that's something else you never heard of before.
Anyway, how does it help YOU that I have become an expert at something that sounds so woo-woo? Because energetic literacy can help us to figure out what's really going on beneath the surface. That way we can do more than a simple sniff test to find out what really helps people effectively.
When your personal finances are at stake, why settle for what simply looks good on the surface?
Instead why not use energetic literacy to become a smart consumer? That's what this part of my work is all about.
Mostly, in my professional work, I use skills of energy HEALING that are supported by energy READING.
So far I have developed five trademarked systems besides the one for reading auras. Based on these skills, I help an international client base and also train a growing group of professionals in the Post-New Age field of Energy Spirituality.
You can read many aura readings of public figures (for free!) at my blog, "Deeper Perception Made Practical."
What I'm offering you in this book is different. This is a systematic program. It starts with my discoveries about success and prosperity -- often quite shocking, and definitely controversial. But true.
Then this program to help you succeed makes use of my background as a teacher of personal development since 1970. Taking what I have learned from aura reading research about real life success, I have developed practical workarounds that help people fix problems and make more money.
The program here has worked for others. Worked for me (of course, or I wouldn't publish a book about it). Now I invite you to find out how this program for success and prosperity can work for you.
SKIN IN THE GAME
Right from the Dedication, you'll learn why I have skin in the game. I really care about helping people to succeed financially.
Most of my work is NOT about money, money, money. (Remember, I've been that teacher of personal development since 1970.) Yet I have discovered success secrets that really deliver.
Success as an ethical person. As someone whose priority is helping others and growing spiritually.
Personally I care passionately about finding the truth, living an authentic life, and moving forward in life as a householder -- not a monk or nun but a spiritually-oriented person in the world.
DOES THIS MATTER TO YOU, TOO?
As this kind of person it concerns me that research using energetic literacy reveals that:
* Many widely accepted strategies for success and prosperity, like The Secret, simply don't work.
* Aura research on the world's richest people clearly shows that they AREN'T doing Law of Attraction practices. (The research you will read, chapter by chapter, supplies loads of details about this. Trust me.)
* Many prosperity experts AREN'T doing Law of Attraction practices either. (And you'll read how that shows in their auras, too.)
* The workarounds that you will learn from this book DO produce the desired results. (As I have found by doing more research with energetic literacy.)
BTW, why do I put a current photograph up at my blog, at my Facebook group for Empath Empowerment Skills, etc.? So that you can use your own skills of energetic literacy to research me.
Nobody can hide from a skilled aura reader. Go check out my integrity. And all the parts of an aura that correlate with success and prosperity. (You'll learn where they are from this book.)
YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ AURAS, OR EVEN BELIEVE IN THEM, TO BENEFIT
This is a practical book, crammed with easy-to-do workarounds that will change your life for the better. It would be worth buying just for the range of goal-setting techniques, as well.
It's to your benefit that I also include the aura research that led me to these discoveries. You'll see it communicated in plain English, so you can feel out these findings with your regular common sense.
At some point, you might choose to develop full energetic literacy. Then you, too, can research the secrets that show energetically in anyone's aura. With that kind of literacy you can read auras in person whenever you like. Also, hello! You can read auras from regular photos, like those you'll find at my blog, "Deeper Perception Made Practical."
Sure, I can teach you that skill set. Learn it through different books that I have published.
OF COURSE, LEARNING TO READ AURAS MAY NOT BE YOUR PRIORITY RIGHT NOW.
YOU MIGHT CARE MORE ABOUT MAKING MORE MONEY.
I hear you. I'd love to help you.
And if you let me, by buying this book and exploring one simple skill at a time, you can grow personally in ways that lead to greater success and prosperity. I believe that I CAN help you. Let's find out!

Also very helpful: Rose illustrates the difference between spiritual Enlightenment and what she calls “spiritual addiction” and shows how certain popular Law of Attraction-based teachings can actually lead to the latter, which can actually do quite the opposite of what’s intended by the teaching. She does call out some people by name (not everyone she reads), which could be considered harsh by some. Still, I think it's important to have this alternative perspective out there in a clear way, and I would hope that every reader who is truly interested (or skeptical) would consider learning to read auras themselves and decide on their own what to make of the various people that Rose reads in this book.
All in all, a fun read, less technique-heavy than some of her other books, and still overall very practical.
Ms. Rosetree's basic idea is that the human aura exists, can usefully be perceived or "read" by any person willing to work up to the skills, and is a wholly reliable guide. That is, the "aura doesn't lie." Because so much of the current prosperity literature is focused on positive thinking and the "law of attraction," her first project (over 150 pages) is to compare the teachers of the law of attraction with the students. According to her (extensive) survey, the teachers of the law of attraction have achieved success in exactly the same way most other successful people have done so, and that relies very strongly on qualities she labels as "root chakra" and "solar plexus" information. In contrast, the principles they teach focus quite fully on data that she labels as "third eye." Boiled down to terms I might understand better, the teachings tend to focus people on thinking and dreaming about reality---longing for it. This attracts people who are prone to be spiritual types and seeker types. That is, in her estimation, a big mistake. The qualities required also include down-and-realistic if not down-and-dirty involvement in the details of real physical life. It requires a strong physical presence and an aggressive intention to "get our own, too." So, she sees the law of attraction teaching as actually counter-productive to acquiring real wealth. Her arguments and anecdotes are much more detailed and amusing than my overview.
The latter part of the book guides the repentant "law of attraction" (LOA) student from the cult of positive thinking back into a more positive frame of reference, and her guidance is less harsh than the popular commercial about "namby-pamby land to get you some self-confidence, you jackwagon!!!!!" although perhaps there is some common thread there. She is very precise about which "databanks" in which "chakras" are required to obtain financial success. While her parlance may be unusual to other muggles like me, it is very useful to know quite clearly what skill sets and what qualities are required. There is reason to think her way may work. She gives exercises, which I consider mild ones, to augment these required qualities of psyche or qualities of life.
For myself, I appreciate the information, although the perception of auras has never been an easy subject for me. On the one hand, it would be pretty hard to say it isn't real or isn't useful. How many people can walk into a room and tell that their spouse is just fuming angry---totally out of whack---even before she moves or blinks or says anything? Most people can sense a wall of unmitigated outrage without any trouble at all. So, if it can be sensed by muggles, it is real.
The difficulty or rub is that engineers and scientists want to observe objectively. We want to see what's there and let it be as it is. However, in observing an aura, the experience is inherently subjective. The act of gathering data is not nicely separated from interpreting the data. So, Ms. Rosetree might see my (1/16 inch) base chakra and inform me that I have no presence in the world and am invisible to people---and should be. Of course, that doesn't entirely sit well with me, since I've worked hard for many years to be accomplished in different ways. What she sees as "no physical presence at all" isn't different from what I consider "kindness and flexibility." It isn't the same in every lexicon. However, this lack of separation between data gathering and data interpretation seems to be unavoidable at present, and no deduction should occur for it.
In the end, I have deducted a star from my review for a different reason. Ms. Rosetree is very aware of the way auric information trickles down to affect the physical world. That is clear. It happens, of course, that the flow goes the other way, too. Just as people who have (1/16 inch) arm muscles can work at clear, objective exercises to build strength, so, too, there are physical aspects of yoga and qigong that can build up the auric qualities more quickly, too. I think that the omission or at least under reporting of these---quite effective---ways for people to remedy their underdevelopment for money matters is a point off. Of course, not all the required "yoga" would be sitting in the corner in an odd stretch. Some of the work is going out and learning to hold qualities while interacting with people. It's a yoga---but a different one.
Ms. Rosetree writes books more quickly and easily than I can study them. Still, I think her books are to be recommended. Unlike so much of the "fluffy" or "new age" or "energy literate" literature, she makes a real effort to teach ordinary people skills that could augment both their personal satisfaction and their business opportunities. So, as an intentional teacher, she is much more valuable than most. Many, many people write books more to display their own cleverness and abilities and without regard to helping the reader toward a better result for himself. One in a hundred or one in a thousand is anything really more than a useless poser---a "look at me, aren't I great" author. This, as it happens, is the good one in a big crowd of bad books.
I am into metaphysical studies including chakras and spiritual development so I found information on chakras not so new. The first half of the book the author explains the concept of energetic literacy as she is Level 3 energy literate and she can read people's auras as deep as the 50 chakra databanks. The 50 chakra databank seems to be a new and recent discovery and it is based on her own research with aura reading over the years. She promotes energetic literacy as the skill to learn and she promotes this by debunking the Law of Attraction teachings. From a marketing perspective it is great strategy to put previous teachings as ineffective and she backs this up by reading the aura's of the billionaires such as Bill gates and Donald Trump.
The chakras most needed to attract money is the lower three chakras Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus. This information is further synthesized and supported by the dangers of spiritual addiction. I thought this section was mainly written for people who are into spiritual practices and if you are spending more than an hour a day doing spiritual and metaphysical work then you are probably spiritually addicted. She gives a sobering overview of the dangers of spiritual addiction and how you are not going to make money by meditating or affirming positive thoughts. She makes a point to engage in earthly duties and getting into the dirty gritty details of making money and making the necessary changes to one's base chakras to ground yourself to magnetize money.
For those who are not into energy stuff; she constantly promotes energetic literacy and of course her other written works as promotion which i found annoying. If a reader is interested in your work they will spend the time and effort to find your other works. You don't need to constantly bring up your blogs and other patented works you have done. She makes a point to say that spiritual consciousness or the development of your upper chakras as OPTIONAL in making real money. Hence, we see the Bernie Maddoffs and wall street bankers, etc as we would regard them as having minimal connection to moral and spiritual consciousness. However, she still promotes energetic literacy and in my opinion to read auras and doing energy work will require a person to at least accept the concepts of energy psychology. But again it's optional! so i found this message to be contradicting in the book.
I did not find her secrets to be actual secrets. It was more of a common sense approach such as developing emotional intelligence to learn to deal with others and conflicts at work and being present in the moment which clarifies your solar plexus chakra. This can be learned from many other books and workshops taught by practical business coaches and mentors. Being aware of what type of activities promote which chakras in your body is good and engaging in activities that promote your base and earthly chakras is a great way to grow and activate them. I am no sure you really need to read auras or become energetically literate ;although it is a plus if you are interested in knowing people's true intentions. But you have to wonder the billionaires she profiled such as Bill Gates and Donald Trump; you think they read people's auras and make decisions in their business dealings based on what they read in the auras or you think they base their decisions on hard actual experience and insticntual need to build wealth and survive beyond the meager means ( which of course is a skill found in the Root chakra)?
She debunkes the Law of Attraction teachings as using a higher consciousness and I also think learning to read auras would also fall into the category of higher consciousness or using your upper chakras.
Some cons: Again this is just a personal opinion and thought and you may feel completely different once you read the book. I am an avid reader and i can go through 500 page book within a day and a half. I found her writing style to be unfocused. It felt like talking to a very bubbly and chatty old lady at the hair salon who describers her points with short fragments and outdated expressions. I had to re-read certain parts as her writing goes off in tangents a lot.
Overall the price of $18 i thought was a bit too much for this kind of book. I would recommend this book for those struggling with spiritual addiction as I found this part of the book most useful. And also if you would like to read the juicy parts where she read the auras of LOA teachers and Born Again Christians to show you if the leaders practice what they teach. Overall I found the book very eye opening and positive.
