I met the yogi in 1968 in Toronto at his wife's dance studio who also was a person of a divine personality and creativity. She suggested that I don't study with her but with her husband.
So I did and we worked together for about seven years about five nights a week when his studio was opened for his yoga class. He taught how to live in a world with so many negative things in it as a yogi or in this case more like a sufi.
I have two masters degree from Chicago Conservatory College in music. A two year business degree from La Salle University (Chicago). A B.M degree from North Texas State University in Jazz, Music Education, and Classical Clarinet. I have lived in Milwaukee, Denton Texas, Chicago, Toronto, and New York City. I have been married three times and have four Children and 8 Grand Children.
A degree in the spiritual art of raja yoga is given by nature itself not by man made institutions.
I have been to Acapulco, Mexico, Hong Kong,
Shenzhen, China and had worked as a performing musician there and as a visiting artist.
What I didn't understand was I was a seasoned NYC musical artist. One has to leave their place to help understand who and what one is.
