About the Author
Barbara Mikolajewska: Polish born writer, translator, and publisher. Former Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Warsaw University (Poland); author of numerous monographs, editor of several anthologies, and translator into Polish of René Girard’s A Theater of Envy: William Shakespeare; current projects include a Girardian decoding of the Japanese Kojiki and a detailed, Girard-inspired retelling, in Polish, of the eighteen books of the Mahabharata.
