Hyperion has been in stasis for a long time. When he wakes up he sees Olivia and sees her freak out. He tries to compel her but he can't so now he must find her. What happens when he does?
This book was for Hyperion and Olivia. I have to say, it was a great choice to put a lighter book right after the first. Hyperion wasn't nearly as angry or angsty as Prometheus (don't let that scare you away, I still loved Prometheus' book) so it lightened the mood in a good way.
Hyperion was hell bent on having Olivia from the start, even if he didn't know why at first. He was also the quickest (of the three so far) to adapt and that was fun to watch. Olivia was understandably terrified but at the same time intrigued. Who could blame her when she dusted the statue of Titan only to watch it come alive and stalk after her? I won't say more because it will spoil, but he was VERY persistent. Also, I totally want to do to coal what he does. Dang man.
