This book is dense with learning opportunities! Between the different shapes, colors, rhyming words, and letter sounds, there is something for every baby and toddler. Each time I read the book to my kids, I find new little clever Easter eggs hidden throughout.
When it arrived, my one year old couldn’t put it down. She loves lifting the flaps and turning the pages to see all the rich colors. My four year old made me read it twice a day for a couple of days after it arrived. She loves identifying all the shapes on each page and the ending makes her so happy.
Unlike many board books, Mail Duck is multidimensional. The story is adorable, the illustrations are captivating, there is a great message, and- as previously mentioned- there are learning opportunities. I would highly recommend this book to anyone with small kids.
