The Mainstreet Classics Traditional Wooden Cribbage Board Game Set is the perfect game board for the road or at home. The board has three tracks which can handle three players at one time. Cribbage requires a deck of cards which is not included. However, we have included a rudimentary cribbage instructions booklet for learners or people looking for clarification of rules. The Mainstreet Classics Traditional Wooden Cribbage Board Game Set is designed with a common "winning hole" for the first-place finishing player. It also features a scoring area to keep track of wins when competing in multiple games. Included with the set are nine colored pegs (three red, three blue, and three green) and a slotted channel on the underside of the board for peg storage. This cribbage board is a basic cribbage board, using three colors. One of the pegs that came with mine was shorter than all the others, but it's not worth returning it just for that. It's a good, basic board that can be used easily. As to whether it was "easy to learn?" I cannot imagine anyone buying a cribbage board just on their own, taking out the direction sheet which is minimal, and learning it all on their own. I'm a fairly accomplished cribbage player, and certainly didn't rely on this board or the enclosed directions to teach it to me. I suppose you could try, but the best way to learn cribbage is to ask someone to teach you who knows what they're doing and can teach you all the basics.....and then.....is patient enough to introduce the strategy to you a little at a time.

Low quality, holes not drilled completely

Low quality board. Half of the holes were not drilled completely, requiring the use of a drill to make the board usable. If I wanted to go through the process of drilling all the holes myself I would have just made my own board instead of buying this one. Do not buy unless you want to drill upwards of 200 holes yourself.

These are classic type board and reasonably priced. I would have liked if they folded in the middle on a hinge like some board do for more compact storage.

Really not happy with this product. I feel maybe the fact it's made with paint that causes cancer and reproductive issues should be stated in the ad. I never would have bought this had I known that. Why the hell would anyone who is playing a game, potentially eating and drinking, want to use a game board is toxic. Waste of my money as it will honestly be thrown out now. FFS.

As functional as it should be, but like many others state, the holes are rough and uneven, the paint is left hanging in the holes, the wood is chipped by the drill...and the accompanying papers state you should wash your hands after use because of some "possible" cancerous materials used in its construction. Sure didn't expect that from a lowly cribbage board.
