About the Author
Alex Stearn is the author of the nine book series, Make Social Media Work for your business. The series covers all the major social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and YouTube. Each book goes into great detail explaining how businesses can really make a difference by using social media to generate leads, find new customers and build their brand. Social media marketing is surrounded in a great deal of hype and mystery and although many businesses owners could see the great successes being enjoyed by others they were still struggling to see how they could make it work for their own businesses. In 2012 Alex set out on a two year journey of discovery and research to find out how businesses could use social media effectively to get ahead of the competition. was in the dark about the potential that Facebook
I have had a FB business page for years, but now have much more focus to help me refine and leverage it more effectively.
This is an easy read, no technical terms to bog you down. Just straightforward information and guidance. You will return to this reference book frequently as you build and modify you page over the months ahead.
I have read quite a lot on this subject matter and felt rather equipped with my knowledge, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn a few more tips and insights that I'll be tweaking and applying to my own Facebook marketing plan.
The only downside to this guide is the lack of illustration. It was a bit text heavy for me. But other than that, I'd highly recommend this guide for anyone regardless of their experience in using Facebook for business. I will be using this book as a reference in the coming weeks. Thanks you!
I agree with a fellow reviewer that it has a few typos, but I find it unfair to give it 3 stars based just on that.
