Lara genuinely shares her own story of how she faced her fears, dreamed big and relied on the Lord to make big changes in her own life. And then in the second par of the book, she gently walks you through some of those same steps she took to help you make changes and big things happen in your own life. This book reads like sitting down to coffee with a good friend, sharing stories, experiences, and helping each other reach for your dreams.
The author is names Lara Casey who is the Publisher and Editor-in-chief for the wedding magazine Southern Weddings. She decided to wrote Make it Happen to help other women realize that they can set their goals and make them happen. Although not all of our goals is to be a publisher or editor we all have goals for our lives and our family's lives and Lara explains how you can do it with faith in yourself.
She talks a lot about her faith in God throughout the whole book, how she went from having a lot of faith to dips in her life where she lost her way and how she finally got back to path with God. As many of you know I am not a very religious woman but I liked that you are able to think about it in your own faith.
I am rating this book 4 stars! I loved all the tips she suggested and I am trying to use it in my own life and it was such an easy and fast read. She doesn't drag anything out or state just the obvious advice. If you are looking for a book that will open your eyes to your true potential this is it!
