The twist is they call upon other men to help them in their endeavors, to help the ladies release inner feelings their own men haven’t been able to tap.
In the opener, Pink Lace, a husband makes a contract to surprise his wife with a special gift while he watches. The question is can he go through with it. He has a safe word to stop the action, and as the heat rises so does the tension of will he, or won’t he.
In Pink Bow, told from the wife’s POV, Scrabble night gives way to a wild night out as her husband takes her to a beachfront mansion. There, she finds herself in the midst of all sorts of sexual goings on. Aroused by what she sees, she’s surprised to learn her husband’s arranged something special for her - with two men!
Finally, in Wicked Pink, a man is frustrated that he can’t give his wife what she needs. Troubles at work and still recovering from a deployment to Afghanistan add to his feelings of inadequacy. He reaches out to his best friend and war buddy for help. His friend and wife slowly open up, each revealing and learning more about themselves. Of the three stories, this was my favorite.
If you’re still looking for a hot beach read for summer, “Make Me Blush” is it.
