I've been in the fitness industry since 2003 and studied a lot of gurus and I have to say Mr. Plummer is one to listen to. He stays current with trends and gives quality advice based around his own best practices and experience. I've attended several of his conferences too and always get a ton of value. I highly recommend this book if you're serious about being successful in the fitness industry.

I bought this book hoping to learn a thing or two, but instead I'm just down right disappointed. This book is amature at best. It's hard to believe that it was written by a guy with thirty years in the industry.

Tom spends a ridiculous amount of time on things that are almost unheard of in the industry. Who in the heck has 2 year contacts and or doesn't use EFT? He ridicules the industry's practices in the late 80's and 90's so redundantly it's almost painful. Also the 'charts' that he has in the book are laughably amateur.

The only redeemable quality of this book is Tom's vision of the future of the industry. It got me thinking a little differently and I was left agreeing with his outlook that the standard club model is going to contract and become more client orientated, but I didn't need to spend $30 for that information.

I suggest every one in the fitness business to buy his books , i read many other books but nothing compare to his.
His books are easy read and straight to the point .
