Let me preface this review by saying I can't stand Farrah. I love to hate her.

This book was much better written than her memoir, which really doesn't say much but at least the writing was intelligible this time. It's pretty obvious that Farrah had a ghostwriter or a lot of help. Farrah can hardly form a coherent sentence when she speaks.

The book is an unabashed trip for Farrah's over-sized ego. Farrah, er Fallon, is beautiful. Everyone is jealous of her beautiful face, tan skin, perfectly sculpted body, and in the end, how great she "performs" on camera (I'm not joking!). It's ridiculous. All we really know about Fallon/Farrah is that she's super pretty and awesome, nothing is ever her fault, the media portrays her negatively, and everyone-her friends, family, lovers-uses her. We never really get below the surface of Fallon/Farrah and I suspect this is due to the fact that there's really not much there to Farrah the person. She's superficial, petulant, self-righteous and pretty dumb. She's all appearances and surfaces, there is no depth to her.

Farrah uses this book to vindicate herself in the aftermath of her porno. She trashes everyone: the porn company, her costar, her family and friends. It all turns out in the end that Fallon/Farrah was basically tricked into making the porno by her sketchy agent (who she oddly never met until the porno filming). Kanity, the producer of the porno, is of course just jealous of Fallon/Farrah because Kanity had wanted a career in porn but wasn't good enough. Kanity is jealous of Fallon/Farrah and her ability to "perform" better than any professional porn actress.

Fallon/Farrah's costar is given a similar treatment but at times the way he's written is a bit confusing.

I admit I just had to see if this girl could do something right for once. Well she can't. This book is pretty much everything you have heard about her in all that gossip rags made into a book. I'm ashamed that the CEO of Ellora's Cave went so far as to write a 4 page excuse in defense of the author, basically saying if we don't like the book it's because we are wrong to have a poor opinion of the author. I'm upset I spent money on this piece of garbage when I should have known better. The main character is a vain, self absorbed, immature girl who thinks that everyone either wants her or wants to be her. Don't waste you time.

I didn't even make it past the free review. From the typos to her old poor little rich narcissist routine, I decided against wasting my money. I can watch her blaming her parents, bashing the porn industry (which puts food in her child's mouth) and putting herself up on a pedestal for free on MTV. I had hoped that her ghost writer would have possibly created something worth reading...nope, not even close. Sorry Farrah, there is nothing sexy about whining and bitching. She has categorically denied being a "porn star". She just happened to have sex with a porn star, and it was filmed. Hmmm. She is not a porn star, she is a celebrity sex tape participant...for money...and she is a stripper...with a sex toy line...for money...but she is a wholesome woman just being "creative" and living out her dreams.

I couldn't give it zero stars which is unfortunate. Clearly this is just a book that IS about her life and her way of I guess childish revenge about her own porn tapes. Seriously, the very slightly changed names and all the events clearly were not "works of fiction" they are just her life and only shuffled around a bit.

In the intro it clearly states it was "carefully and closely edited". Did Farrah herself do the editing? Because there were more than just a few small mistakes that were glaringly obvious. In the book it talks about how things aren't "titillating" enough for her. Not once was this as good or titillating enough as almost every other erotic novel I've read; a bit of the pot calling the kettle black! Lacked a lot in many departments, including using something other than one single word for describing anything.

All in all, I wouldn't even waste a book rental on this at a library, let alone very hard earned money! Avoid it like the abomination that it is! Just so much fail here.

Is it horrible that I actually sat down and read this book through every last world? It took me not even half of the day to finish it. I cringed once I was done reading the excerpt, and even then I should have put it down. I mean honestly, how more could she be into herself? And now she’s named her character “Fallon Opal,” after the reproductive tubes that made her famous. The girl's whole life is a fictional story she makes up in her head as she goes. Erotica is suppose to be titillating and trust me this was just Grade A pathetic and apparently she was suppose to one up E.L. James on Fifty Shades. Hysterical. I immediately got a refund after buying this piece of garbage.
