Unfortunately it is not a very comfortable rope hammock. I've had two other rope hammocks and this is, hands down, the most uncomfortable. The ropes are thinner, so they dig in more than wider ropes.

Other than the comfort issue, it does its job. So if this the only one in your budget range you could put a blanket on it to lie on.

I bought this item for a frame I already owned. The picture looks exactly like the original hammock that came with the frame. It is not! It is very thin, and even when stretched to the tightest possible setting, it sags to the ground with an eleven year old in it! Very disappointing purchase. The rope is very thin and stretches like t-shirt material!

The hammock sagged too much after laying in it for about 5 minutes and then getting out (185 lb. person). One of the ropes actually broke when trying to get situated in the center.

I bought this hammock because it was a fair price. Shipping was slow and when I finally received the product it can barely be classified as a rope hammock, it's more like a string hammock. When I put it up I made it as tight as it would go and the middle sags to the ground with a 100 pound person sitting in it. I am very dissapoined but can only blame myself as you get what you pay for

It's great and we love that there's room for two. But the materials aren't that strong. We already have some damage and we've only had it a few weeks.

This hammock is cheap - not inexpensive, but cheap. It is very poor quality. When I received mine, the metal rings were rusted. The rust had discolored the cotton webbing.

However, even if that had not been the case, I still would not have used it. It is very low-quality construction. The cotton webbing is very thin and unsubstantial. It just doesn't feel like it would be safe for one adult to lie on it, let alone two.

Because it was less than $30 when I bought it, I didn't feel like it was worth the time and effort it would have taken to return it to the seller. So, it's in my burn pile for my next bonfire.

I bought this to replace a similar hammock I received as a gift. When I got it I was not happy with hi much it stretched compared to the other better quality rope hammock. It create a problem where I had to dig into my grass just to not have to touch ground when I laid in it. The rope is not comfortable to lay on either compared to my precious one. The rope is not soft and thick enough to create a comfy feel. I wish I knew what brand the first one was but it was a gift. It is not comfortable to lay in at all. It stretches too much so when you want to move around you are stretching it even more like moving in quick sand and not moving at all because it just stretches. Hard to explain. It is thinner rope than I'd like so the feel is like laying on thick pieces of threat as opposed to soft cotton and comfy like my other one where I could literally fall asleep in. Not this one. I haven't even had it a year and didn't use it as often as my other one and it's already tearing. Just laying in it and moving into it rips the thread and keep ripping every time I get in now. It's like it wasn't made well and is super dry so it tears easy. It's got a huge whole in it now and it's now unusable. Disappointed. I will try a cloth one next.
