Mallboo's kneeling chair has a radian at the bottom, if you not sit straight, then there is no way to sit on the chair,so unconsciously put the back straight. At the same time share the pressure about 80% of the spine,so can maintain a good posture, to prevent kyphosis and myopia.

The con for this item is that the desktop came missing screws/with loose screws, and it isn't secure enough to use straight from the box. This is an obvious mistake that should have been spotted at the factory (you can tell it's loose with the desk open or folded). For $130, I think it's a bit overpriced generally, and this sort of craftsmanship issue definitely should not be present. It can be fixed, but I shouldn't have to rehang the hinges and screws on a new item. Granted this construction issue may have been a one-off problem, although I suspect it may be a design flaw since the screws are too short and the hinge needs a little play for the folding action (i.e. this could be a weak point if you're planning to open the desktop a lot).
This would be a 3-star review, but the desk's utility and design really is ideal for people concerned about space-saving and its flaw is something anyone could fix with some longer screws and an electric drill.
I have back issues and can not have awkward seating postures for long. I just use this chair for change in posture and works well for an hour to little more of seating.
Worked well for me, I am around 180 pounds.
I would recommend frequent breaks to get used to.
Assembly was really easy and my 8-year-old son enjoyed it with me. It took us less than 15 minutes to complete - no surprises. Did not even look at the manual for the most part. Part quality seems fine so I expect it to survive sometime.
QUALITY: the seat is NOT COMFORTABLE, my tailbone hurts after 1 hour. The cushion flattens completely (and I weigh 159 lbs) so it is like sitting on a plank of wood. The rocking movement and the posture are there, but with a painful tailbone, what's the point? There was also a very sharp staple sticking out of the seat that I had to bash in to avoid injury. The microfiber on top and on the sides is OK, but the tissue underneath the seat and leg pads is so thin, it tears like paper.
ASSEMBLY: some of the holes are poorly lined up with the wooden pegs so you have to wrestle to put it together. The instructions weren't extremely clear (and I'm a veteran Ikea assembler, I am intimately familiar with flat pack furniture).
SERVICE: the first box I received contained two left legs and zero right legs. I tried to contact the seller but it wasn't possible, so I had to go through Amazon. The second box I received contained the proper legs, but the seat could not be mounted onto the legs because the holes were not in the right places. So, using the seat from Box 1 and the legs from Box 2, I was able to construct 1 chair. Still, it's not comfortable at all and I regret buying it.
