An actor, Clay, who plays the bad guy, finishes the final scene in his latest movie in Sedona, AZ and afterward rides on horseback through a vortex which lands him in 1901. He is befriended by a woman, Ella, and ends up staying with her and Ella's brother on their nearby farm. Days later, with Ella, he returns to 2016 after having to fend off outlaws in a shootout.
The book is great in showing how Clay, from 2016, adjust to live in 1901, and Ella, who lives in 1901, adjust to live in 2016. They fall in love and long to be with each other.
Will they stay together and if so which time period, Clay's or Ella's?
I was so completely thrilled to enjoy and read another amazing story by favourite author, Melissa Bowersock. With my complete love and devotion to all great Indie novels made it such a complete joy to read this time travel adventure with its hint of romance a true winner to me!
As gorgeous star, Clay Bauer tackled himself in the deserts of Sedona. He was just glad now this day was at an end. With his director so pleased from his hard work. Wait to now film in ending scene. Clay always was the bad guy in all his movies. Now he was just taking his horse out for one last ride.
As his horse jumped up spooked after lightning struck above and the clouds gathered around him . Completely confused, not knowing what was going on. They just seemed to float away!!
I so thoroughly enjoy this marvellous most adventurous book. Such a wonderful engaging romance. I just adored all the amazing actors and so pleased with this sensational book!!
* I recommend this book to everyone!!
Having not long read Bowersock’s Being Travis, another time-travel novel, I was having a bit of déjà vu. But I should have known that the very talented Ms B would have something up her sleeve. And she did. But I’m not telling, I’m afraid.
Clay’s become a bit Hollywood-superficial, but his experiences in early-twentieth-century Sedona and a certain Ella reveal a warm, caring, decent man, who ultimately makes a decision that turns his life around dramatically. And by ‘around’, I mean…no, sorry, shan’t. Read this and find out. Wonderful.

I've read a number of Melissa's books. This is another in a long line of fast paced, entertaining works that will keep the reader page turning. This is a particularly imaginative story. It starts out as a cowboy western, and then magically transforms into a telling of what it was like to homestead in Arizona back in the good old days. Just as suddenly they re-appear in modern times...and the interesting part is the challenge Ella faces dealing with "modern conveniences." Her reaction to planes, phones and elevators are particularly intriguing. But true love cannot blossom until one final step is taken. By the way, I received a free copy of this book with a request to leave an honest review" "
