Hannah is a divorced mother of a five year old little girl. Her ex husband lives next door with his new life like barbie. Hannah just wants to move on but life seems to want to screw her over, especially when the new temp at work is a hot ex baseball player named Logan.
Logan just wants a fresh start after leaving baseball for reasons he would rather forget. Now he has a chance with a new temp job and wants a chance with his new boss Hannah.
Logan and Hannah's ex both end of with the flu and on her couch it is all Hannah can do to keep her wits about her.
I would recommend this book. I will leave you with 3 hashtags describing this book:
#manfluistheworst #hotexbaseballplayer #flattire - By Linda
Hannah got divorced because of her ex cheated, he even moved in next door to her with his new girlfriend. Leaving Hannah to raise their 5 year old daughter Cora, who is a complete hoot! Logan an ex baseball player is Hannah's new temp at her job. The sparks fly. Everyone is getting the flu.
I know for a fact I will definitely read this book over and over. This is the most enjoyable, hilarious book. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!
Logan is a former MLB star looking for a new life and Hannah is newly divorced after several years of marriage with a five year old little girl. I was laughing so hard at times I could not even see the words. I have read several books by Shari J. Ryan and this is one of my favorites. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Hannah Pierce is not at first that likeable as a single mother, divorcee, with a huge chip on her shoulder while trying to do it all. I really wanted her to pull herself together because gosh, I was tired "for her" and all the loneliness and heartache; but not until she meets the handsome new, office temp, Logan, that her self-deprecating inner monologue really hits her stride--and some of the stuff she thinks and does is so awkwardly authentic that I couldn't help but adore her and cheer her on. Loved Logan--the ex-professional ball player that keeps coming to her rescue and is too good to be true...and her quirky, millennial assistant Brielle is fabulous. So many laugh out loud moments, and passion (good grief, the steam... Fans self!), and the sweet, tender moments--make ManFlu another homerun for Shari Ryan. Can't wait to read her next in her "Man" series.
