From the Author
Many of the surprising and unique stories in The Man in the GPS and Other Stories spring from my own experience.
Like the main character in The Man in the GPS, for instance, I have a passionate crush on the little man in my own GPS (don't tell!) and I've long fantasized about overhearing his voice in a restaurant some day and meeting him...
The yard man in The Tender Harvest, along with his theories, was modeled after one of my own yard men. The carnival experiences of one of the characters in Love on the Subway is based on an experience of my own. And so it goes.
Readers might enjoy knowing that despite their diversity, every story in The Man in the GPS and Other Stories has multiple things in common with at least one, and oftentimes more, of the other stories in the book. I have a secret list of how these stories are linked together. You can have fun trying to figure out what these commonalities are!
Thank you for reading this book. It's great coffee-shop, airport, bedtime, or any time reading! I hope you like it.
