An innocent woman must survive a murderous reign of terror by hired killers, drug lords and vice kings of the underworld. A nightclub singer (Vera Ralston, I, Jane Doe) becomes mixed up in illegal drug dealings and the mob shortly after witnessing her husband's supposed death and the murder of a couple of narcotics agents. Republic Pictures veteran Joseph Kane (Dakota) directed this suspenseful film noir gloriously shot in black-and-white and cinemascope by Jack A. Marta (Framed, Duel) with a screenplay by Richard C. Sarafian (Vanishing Point). This exciting crime thriller co-starred Rod Cameron (TV s State Trooper and City Detective) and Mike Mazurki (Murder, My Sweet).

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Under produced but well written and acted; probably not memorable, but an interesting way to spend 80 minutes. Outstanding work from Mike Mazurki and the often unheralded Vera Ralson. Not a must-have, but certainly okay.
