Isaac can get hurt and get defeated. He is still under a lot of plot armour though, saved many times when he should die.
I also like that not every woman that get introduced gets an instant invite into the harem.
Quinn was interesting to read about. At first he was quite abrasive, but In time I got to understand her and those like her.
Some inconsistencies happened with some terminology and designations, I think Bruce wrote this story a little too fast, though I ached for this book to get released the whole of December. I would recommend him to take one extra week to look through all books and see that everything has the same designation.
The thing that makes this book a weak 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is how the whole Kat thing. What she almost pulled and how Isaac more or less shrugged it off because of previous love made me almost stop reading. But it was an amazing story and I’d say it was better than the first book in a few places, aside from that and what I’ve already talked about.
Thank you Bruce for this book. I hope you keep up the good work.
It's a great series and an amazing take on CultivationLit (is that even a thing? If not, it should be!). I'm looking forward to the next book. And like another reviewer... I'd impatiently wait another week for Bruce to iron out the final wrinkles one more time.
