This text is exceptionally priced for the content. Much of the information I have learned in my experience as a human services professional, yet many of my classmates were new to the field and noted it was very helpful. I especially enjoyed the chapters on budgeting and program evaluation, as those are my weakest areas due to lack of experience.

This book has been exceptionally boring. I'm using it for an online class and have to do all the exercises at the end of each chapter. They aren't hard, but it's hard to get motivation to read each chapter beforehand. A lot of the material seems redundant.

This book contains a lot of valuable information... but it is dry. It is not an easy read and not something I am happy my grad school professor decided to assign.

I bought this book for a class last semester and did not want to purchase the book at the college amount. This book was resonibly priced and a wonderful addition to my books. It was the exact book that was needed for the class and I was able to use it over and over again.
