In his book, based on a series of blog posts composed over several years, Andy shares some key insights on leading and developing people. He discusses the importance of people over technology, the importance of community, and the importance of honesty and integrity.
This not a book of techniques. You won't learn the latest management fads. Instead, Andy shares approaches to life and to people that can help increase your team's productivity organically.
As someone who counts Andy as a friend, I know that he would not want an insincere or inflated review/rating because of our friendship. He would want an honest assessment of his work. I respect him for that; and that's what I've done. This book is insightful and presents a perspective that I wish more people had.
