I would love it more at $35, but even so if you need it then get it.
p.s. It takes the weight of a Zoom H4N with ease.
Yes, this is a bit pricey, but it works perfect. It is heavy duty, feels professionally made, and most importantly locks down easily and keeps my monitor where I want it.
Don't fret the price and try to get something cheaper, great film requires great equipment.
I'm using it to hold a Zoom H4n on top of my Canon 7D and it works just as expected with no other equipment or adapters needed. The Zoom H4n securely screws onto the ball head using its threaded mount on the back. It has enough clearance on the 7D to go nearly vertical.
Overall I'm very impressed with the value of this ball head. I'm so glad I found this before buying one of the cheaper versions. Manfrotto rocks.

Very well-built, but a little heavy. Since it is going on the top of your camera, you'll feel the weight of it. HOWEVER, this is the price you pay for excellent quality. Read morePublished 12 months ago by Thomas H.
