Update: May 2013
Either the optical sensor is starting to fail or there is a short in the cord. It still works in a pinch, but you often have to try to move the cursor several times before it finally goes where you want it to. Probably got my 4 or 5 bucks worth out of it, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. Lowered from 4 stars to 3.
I bought this mouse because it is identical looking (same size and shape, totally different materials and feel) to another mouse (unfortunately wireless with short battery life) sold on Amazon that I think is just wonderful. That mouse is this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WIOOI0/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I really wish that this Manhattan Mouse had the same quality feel and materials as that Cosmos mouse that looks exactly alike. It is a wonderful mouse, but the problem is that it just eats too many batteries.
Additionally, after my computer has been asleep and wakes up I have to unplug it and plug it back in to be recognized. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks to get something better.
As a change, I thought I would use a flatter mouse for awhile - then switch back, and this mouse fit what I was looking for, inexpensive light, flatter and it is comfortable.
It doesn't have a solid feel, at first impression, being very light. Though I was surprised though that it worked as well as it does.
The edges are a bit 'sharp' at first, being used to a regular bump mouse, but I got used to the new flat edges pretty quickly - overall a nice mouse - which will alternate on my desk, and possibly even travel with me.

Terrible mouse. Second product I've bought from Manhattan, only because they're cheap and I was in a pinch. Never again. Incredibly cheap quality. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amazon Customer
Super light, very basic with short cord: Perfect for using with laptop and when plugged in for the first time after the Windows 10 update it worked no problems. Read morePublished 6 months ago by SD Boy
I bought this mouse. Had it for almost one month. Today it started double clicking when you just give a single click. Just by using it you can notice its bad quality. Read morePublished 8 months ago by Ferguzon
You get what you pay for, right? This is actually better than I expected. I just needed a cheap mouse to last a while. Read morePublished 8 months ago by Timothy Gaynor
Very lightweight and small. It was really cheap though and it does the job I needed it to. Probably not for all-day use or gaming.Published 10 months ago by Harry Teaux
Started double-clicking when you single-click anything within days. That is very frustrating.Published 12 months ago by Aztlan
