The oversized format collects first two trades (or ten monthlies) and though extra material is nice, I'm afraid there isn't much of it: design sketches, some black and white material from the first issues and the original pitch. It's not disappointing per se because the book is a great value but compared to other Deluxe editions from Image such as Revival, Fatale and Peter Panzerfaust, the quantity is a just a little underwhelming. Not even the covers are included.
Hickman is someone to watch out for. I used to look to Warren Ellis for smart and ground-breaking science fiction. Lately, I've been adding more and more titles by Hickman on my pull-list.
