Gobo tends to be the leader of the group. Unusually level-headed and practical for a Fraggle, Gobo prefers to control most situations. He plays a guitar (made from a gourd) and often goes on trips to explore the lesser-known tunnels of Fraggle Rock. Gobo is an independent Fraggle and resists the influence of his friends. Gobo has an orange complexion and purple hair, and wears a yellow and pink stripe sweater with a brown vest. Since 1979, Manhattan Toy has been making award-winning, high quality, educational toys for your baby, toddler or kid. From timeless teddy bears to whimsical stuffed animals and incredibly soft plush toys, our goal is to provide the safest and best toys available. All of our products, from the newest concepts to our time-tested classics, are innovatively designed to inspire imaginative play and are routinely safety tested to pass strict CPSC, ASTM, EN71 and Health Canada safety standards.

The reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is that his hair is not long enough. It should be covering his eye area more. Boober had eyes but they were covered by his long hair and cap. This plush makes it look like he has no eyes. His face looks too long since the hat is too small. I agree with another reviewer who said the same thing.
Other than that, it's cute. I have my original Mokey Fraggle from the 80s. She's a lot cuter than the new version I saw. I don't remember what the 80s Boober looks like so I can't compare them.
However, there are things to complain about. Her pigtails aren't as bad as some people are claiming, they just need a little fluffin' up and aren't spherical (which I find odd). You certainly can create the illusion though and it stays well. The one I received has a very nice mouth that is relatively closed and smiley-looking. And then there are those "weird eyes"...
Thing about the eyes is that they DO indeed face down a bit, and it's a little annoying. However, looking at the Sababa plush that is harder to find, I would still prefer this Red. She is bigger, less expensive at this point, and softer-looking (the Sababa toy is bendable, which just doesn't sound comfortable to me). I suggest to anyone who can't stand the eyes of this product and has even just a shred of sewing expertise to simply pull the cloth eyes back a bit and sew them into place so that she looks on more straightforward. Even just tugging on the eyes only a bit will show you that this is all that needs to be done.
I recommend anyone who wants a Red plush to get this one--she's worth the money. She's only slightly off-looking, and I personally am willing to spend the $0 more that will be required to fix the biggest turn-off permanently.
