I am glad for this book for several reasons; the primary being that I was formerly involved in neo=pagan studies and practices before coming to Christ and the anti-Christian arguments (ie. lies) that McDurmon mentions in this book were standard litany within the neo-pagan community. There is so much anti-Christian propaganda (again: lies) taught within neo-paganism, that I almost cried for joy when I read this book. This is a MUST READ for anyone who finds themselves in the position of defending our faith against the neo-pagan (or atheist) community who seem more interested in false history and romanticized mythologies than truth. I love the writing style of this author, he is very approachable and readable without being overly weighed down in academia speak. His jaded humor mirrors my own feelings on the subject and I really enjoyed this book. It is very well researched and the information is straight forward and leaves little or no room for questioning. All of my thoughts on the various subjects approached in this work were addressed and satisfied and I now feel totally prepared to deal with the nay-sayers that infest the internet with their willfull ignorance of history and Biblical studies.
