FINALLY - a product for me and my kids! I loved that it was themed for our holiday, that we liked the look of it, and that had a possibility of tasting like something I might want to eat (sugar cookies sounded like a good idea!). However, there were MANY drawbacks. Yes, I did read that there were issues with it arriving in pieces, but I thought that those reviews were from last year - I'm sure that they have fixed that issue. Well, it turns out - Manischewitz did NOT fix that. It arrived in many small pieces - so grab that hot glue gun (which is probably a good idea for ANY holiday house!), because we spent an HOUR with the gun and the house, before it could be decorated. It also didn't have candy (which we naturally added - because what's the fun in a holiday house if you can't snack on the candy after it is done and has been photographed??). Anyway, sugar cookies are a great idea in theory, but a horrible idea in practice, because they don't ship well. Also, not nearly enough white frosting for the size house - and we didn't use ANY frosting to set the base - so all of the white lines that you see are where we are covering the hot glue - all of the base, and all of the lines on the front of the house - all broken on arrival, and covered in lines of frosting.
